At This Point Do You Really Want Grimes Back?

It would appear that the FA Window for Grimes did not fully open for him.

As I understand it, the Dolphins may be the only other

team interested in him.

If this fails, and we get Grimes back on our terms, there is always the chance to have disgruntled player in the locker room.

I cant blame him for that either, but do we need a sulky

player in the locker room?

If you do not like this topic then by all means, tell me why we

would stick with the 4-3,, any pro argument that mentions

Mike Smith is a disqualifier.

You never know, we may not be interested in bringing him back. I get the feeling that td is ready to move on.

He has an amazing story, but at the end of the day, he gave up on the team when he sat out against ny. That could be debated had it not been said that the trainers/coaches went into that game expecting him to play.

I have always been a fan of grimes. He's a playmaker. If falcons had to choose between getting Abe n dansby or grimes. I'd choose Abe n dansby. Ino grimes chasing money which I

Dont blame him. I jus feel him n his wife don't like it here in atlanta ever since the playoff loss to New York

Personally I don't

#1 I think he is over rated. A good player, but by no means a great player. He only had 1 "great" year in my opinion.

#2 Age

#3 Serious Injury

#4 He obviously doesn't wanna be here that much considering we paid him 10 million dollars for 3 quarters last season.

I know I know... you gotta get the money while you can, but without Atlanta he would have been selling Pizza's in Philly right now. We gave him a shot, we paid him. He needs to take a small discount and come back. obviously he isn't getting truck loads of cash anywhere else or he would be gone by now

Never wanted to break the bank for him and was more than fine letting him walk. That said, if he wants to come back to a reasonable deal, then I'd be willing to discuss that possibility. In his case though, I'd worry less about the problems he would cause in the locker room (because I don't think he would sulk that much), than I would about the wifey stirring up hate & discontent everywhere she could.

His wife reminds me of Dey De's crazzy azz girlfriend.

Can see her azz in the parking lot at flowery branch keying

TD's ride.

TD!, YO TD! You better gimmie my Stack!

I would not mind him back as a player, but I just do not see how this

FA situation could not be a huge disappointment.

He would mentally have to get past it in order to focus correctly

on the game

You pretty much just summed up my answer right here. The only way I could see it working is with a ton of incentives and give him a prove it deal. Something that motivates him to prove the world wrong once again. It sucks that it has come to this but such is life. His story has always been a great one. I would love to see him come out and prove the world wrong once again.

He is having a great rapport with his teammates on twitter, so I believe it's just the fans that are blowing this out of proportion.
