Football Gameplan's Inside The War Room - Atlanta Falcons

All the defensive holes were addressed. So he addressed the next need. God forbid TG goes down but I don't see Coffman/Palmer picking up the slack.

I am against the crowd still asking for Eifert in the first but Ertz in the second actually sounded really good. I had a flash about running a two TE set with one of them being capable of going down field. Its actually got me excited about the idea. Gonzo for the auto first down if the others aren't there and then you have our 2 WRs , Ertz , and SJax. That sounds mean.

Come back after you watch some falcons games. We constantly use multiple TE sets and could use a really good receiver to throw out there in those sets. See: New England Patriots.

Right. It would be incredibly hard to defend our receiving core even more than it already is with another TE out there with hands who is a down field threat. I mean besides that too , whats the harm in learning next to Gonzo for a year? That alone would be invaluable.

I was watching Falcons games when you was still squirting mustard in your diapers.

Reminds me of a certain team that throws 40 burgers up quite often !

Drafting a TE early will be a waisted pick..........he isn't going to get any playing time with TG still here.

I think the problem is thinking in only the here and now. It was probably part of the reason so many hated the Jones trade because of the impact it had then. The plan isn't always picking players that are going to contribute right away but also what they will be able to do in the future.

I thought the same thing. If anything he is building an impressive resume and getting a lot of practice. I personally think he is better than just about everybody on NFLN and ESPN.

Yeah, if the guy does this for every team in the NFL he's definately putting in some serious time and effort and I hope he's getting a kick back of some sort.
