Brent Grimes

Recommended Posts

Free agent CB Brent Grimes is not expected to land with the Buccaneers.

Bucs beat writer Rick Stroud expects Grimes -- the top cornerback left on the free-agent market -- to head to Cleveland or Miami. Last week, the Browns were reported to have offered Grimes a multi-year contract. Details of the Dolphins' offer, assuming they've made one at all, are unclear at this time.

as long as he doesn't go to the Bucs i'm good

wish he would.

just so all these grimey lovers would see how bad he is......just like Lofton, he had to go to a rival team before half of this board realized how horrible he was.

Not everyone likes the way the Lofton situation turned out, I believe in all my heart he would of been better in coverage if we had him in the game and not Nicholas in the playoffs when we needed him.

No Lofton was 10x worse in coverage than Nic.

It was the read option that made our LBers stay near the line that killed us..

I never again want to rely on Nicolas covering tes

Neither we need Moore to get better at man and take them away.

Respectfully disagree with that.

Lofton was so bad against the pass Nic had 2 bad games.... 1 against Davis who needs a S to cover him because he is too fast for LBers.

Grimes was good for us in years past. Having said that, we were 10 yards from the SB with him in street clothes, and his being out there wouldn't have made much of a difference. I like BG, but at this point, I feel like he was gone last year after the injury, and if he comes back, so be it, but I won't lose sleep either way.

I'm in full Trufant mode now. That way I can be sorely disappointed on draft day!
