Jamesgall13
Looking at all our needs on Defense such as 2 DE, DT, LB and CB. And should Gonzo retire our needs on Offense, RB, TE, RG, and a NO.3 WR. I worry about our future. I think that are time span to win a SB is the next 4 or 5 years but with Dimitroffs track record of drafting players on the defensive side of the ball; I cannot help but think that we'll always be a few players to short. Calling it now, we don't make the playoffs next season. Miss out with 9-7 or 10-6. The Lombardi trophy will not be coming to the ATL for a long long time

CT FalconFan
You couldn't be more WRONG. This team is on the verge of greatness! We cut a slow running back who couldn't catch or hit the hole with any burst, a CB who had what 2 INT's his whole stay here, a DE (who I love but...) took off way to many plays and when we really needed hiw was MIA. The Falcons will be fine. We will be getting younger and faster! Great things are coming!!!!!!!!!!!! xSICKxWITHxITx
Lmao, thanks for the laugh. Everyone is coming out of the wood works in panic. The cuts were a good thing to help improve the team going forward.
#1 pick™
We just need to add one or two defensive playmakers and were good on D. Offense, just one more playmaker and if we fail, Ryan has to go.
The Falchemist
Of the 9 needs you named, we have 6-7 viable options waiting in the wings. And another handful are on the way.One cut (because we all knew the other two were coming) won't break this team. You sound foolish.

Guest Gritz
I'm always worried about our future. Todays moves didn't make it any worse or any better.I'm like ******* Barney Fife when it comes to my nervousness over the Falcons. But they're the ones who did it to me. If we use the money wisely it can make us better for sure. I'm not nervous, just anxious for the next moves. There's no doubt to me that we improve. Whether its from the draft, FA or our young guys stepping up. Like Mass!

Don't think he's a stud, but more of a Kroy B type player. Not sure about Sid, I think he will be gone. It would be nice if we resigned him and he actually played and shinned. What if we don't bring in a DE and actually let our young guys play? I'd like to see reactions on here if that happened.
xSICKxWITHxITx
to me, these moves signify to me that the FO still has an eye to the future.Yep, TDs always looked ahead. He does it in the draft and FA.
JOEinPHX
to me, these moves signify to me that the FO still has an eye to the future. That's the difference between us message board GMs and the real ones. TD is always looking two years down the road - at least..

I'd like to see reactions on here if that happened.I think most of us on here get it in our heads that none of these younger guys must be any good if they aren't seeing the field....it's like we all get brainwashed that they suck.I wonder a lot about that assumption. I ask myself if a guy like Mass or Matthews (or even Sid) might blossom if they got some serious game time.

They pay the front office OBSCENE money to do this. Let the professional football folks do their job. The armchair GM's can panic all they want.
