Hustle Up
I say give him a chance he's got potential, but i'm guessing he will not get through that 'Falcon Filter'.

Sun Tzu 7
ok let's put things in perspective here. This guy wasn't suspended... he was kicked off the team. Teams like LSU don't kick playmakers off their team unless there's a real problem. That being said if we could pick him up with a late round pick then why not but let's not confuse him with Patrick Peterson or Morris Claiborne. These schools aren't playing especially when Honey Badger failed his 3rd test and by LSU team rules was suspended for a year no matter what. g-dawg
Honey Badger is a late 3rd rounder - with no off-field issues. When you factor the character, drug history - he's a 4th-5th rounder - for teams that would take a chance on character.Falcons are not taking this guy - give it up. The Falchemist
It's a far and away hope, but I'd love for our front office to step out there and take the chance on Mathieu.I think it's high time that we realize..... great guys with great character build great teams, but great talent wins games.Hopefully after being within tongue's reach of the SB last month, we'll have an epiphany and start weighting the latter more so than the former. LookAboutFalcon
I still don't know why he didn't come out during that Heisman year run he had. That was seriously a bad decision.
Snafu
I think the Falcon Filter can be a bit stupid at times but why on Earth would anyone want a guy w/ substance abuse issues. He has been busted for it repeatedly and never learned. muskokas finest ©
Pacman was a baller, but his idiocy kept him off the field.

Sun Tzu 7
I still don't know why he didn't come out during that Heisman year run he had. That was seriously a bad decision.Probably because he was a sophmore and not eligible for the draft. kane#7
Pacman was a baller, but his idiocy kept him off the field. He is actually playing pretty well for the Bengals now.
NOVAFalconFan
He is actually playing pretty well for the Bengals now.His 3rd team, seven years after getting drafted.
1989Fan
He is actually playing pretty well for the Bengals now.I agree he is playing well, but that is no help to TEN who dealt with problems for a few years only to see him finally produce for a different team. If TM's path was anything similar to Pacmans, I wouldnt want to be the team that drafted him.And Honey Badger isnt close to the physical talent that Adam Jone was. IceFalcon
The only reason I would take a chance on this kid is because he is an absolute beast in the return game, both punt and kicking returns... which let's be honest, we need DESPERATELY. ParanoidAndroid
The falcon filter had kept the Falcons locker room and overall team drama free for years. It apparently works. Honey Badger was overhyped before his off field issues. I'll pass.
