Deion "primetime" Sanders On Tyrann Mathieu: He Will Be A Baller

#1 pick™

Recommended Posts

ok let's put things in perspective here.

This guy wasn't suspended... he was kicked off the team. Teams like LSU don't kick playmakers off their team unless there's a real problem.

That being said if we could pick him up with a late round pick then why not but let's not confuse him with Patrick Peterson or Morris Claiborne.

Cam Newton was kicked off of UF as was Mettenberger for UGA. These schools aren't playing especially when Honey Badger failed his 3rd test and by LSU team rules was suspended for a year no matter what.

It's a far and away hope, but I'd love for our front office to step out there and take the chance on Mathieu.

I think it's high time that we realize..... great guys with great character build great teams, but great talent wins games.

Hopefully after being within tongue's reach of the SB last month, we'll have an epiphany and start weighting the latter more so than the former.

He is actually playing pretty well for the Bengals now.

I agree he is playing well, but that is no help to TEN who dealt with problems for a few years only to see him finally produce for a different team. If TM's path was anything similar to Pacmans, I wouldnt want to be the team that drafted him.

And Honey Badger isnt close to the physical talent that Adam Jone was.

True but he won't go as high as Pacman, so there is less risk... who really cares if a 4th doesn't pan out they seem to be going at a 40% success rate anyway and no one else in the 4th will have the skillset the Honeybadger does.

He is the ultimate low risk high reward pick... he will be a Patriot.
