Str8 Bonafide777
I'm not going to go into alot of details about dollars and cap because I honestly would have no clue about what I'm talking about if I did. I'm also not gonna go thru everyone we release or let walk...just the main ones.Release/Retire/Let Walk:Michael Turner-just doesnt have the legs or will anymore!Todd McClure-did a great job for us...just his time to hang it up.Dunta Robinson- way to much money given for the production given back.P. Jerry-..........L. Sidury-........these are the main ones plus a few others...Resign:Tony G-comes back for one more runBrent Grimes-better than Robinson, proves himself for a year.R. McClain-might already be signed...if not sign himWiliie Mo-this is a toss up for me...hes good but not great...i say we keep him if it doesnt break upFA: Geoff Schwartz- comes in and helps our o line. Dont think we draft O line this yearDwight Freeny- Cheap two year contract...bring some more Vet. leadership to our defense and championship swag we're lacking.Draft: I have a feeling we're gonna trade out of the first to get a couple more pick. We trade our 1st to a team looking to pick a QB for their 2nd and 3rd.2nd- Brandon Williams DT-may be a few spots to early but i believe this guy will change or run stuffing and pass rushing. Big body in the middle that we need so i say reach and grab. Alt: Jesse Williams2nd- Gavin Escobar TE- I have Tony G coming back but i still say we get the guy people are calling TG jr. Love his speed and hands. This will make us unstoppable in the RZ with him and Tony on the field.3rd- Darius Slay CB- Long and fast. Has good ball skills eventually will replace Asante or Grimes...which ever one leaves first.3rd- Zavier Gooden LB- i had him here before i saw his forty time. Hes a bit raw but we need speed on defense. He also plays the pass well. Alt: sean porter4th-Cory Lemonier DE- even with the Freeny signing we need to get younger. A bit of a tweener but he'll be a DE for us in the 43. Good speed of the edge can also drop in coverage.4th- Kniles Davis or Christain Michael RB-both should be here, both are coming off sub par season, both have had a full year to recover from injuries, bout are 3 down back with speed. We take a chance and get a great back with power, speed and moves.5th-Montori Hughes DT-More Beef6th-Brandon McGee CB- deptAll 7th- BPAI think we adress most needs...let me know what you think! Psychic Gibbon
Schwartz is not a solution at RG, or any position. There is still a void at RG under your scenario.

Psychic Gibbon
so without altering my draft and OS to much...what do you change? You have to draft an RG. Guards cost too much on the open market for a worthwhile free agent to be a realistic option.
Kizu_7
love it! the only thing I'm thinking is if ATL takes a risk on a raw player, I'd rather see Cornelius Washington brought in. He may be there in the 4th, if so I'd rather see him then C. Lemonier ... even though he's a LB (Washington) he's got the size to be a DE

Kizu_7
thanks....i could see Washington therejust depends on what sort of upside they see, I was excited to see Knile Davis on there, I've really liked what I've seen from him.

I think his fumbling came from him running cautious because of his injury...he had a full healthy season to recover...i think he gets his confidence back. Psychic Gibbon
good point and sound logic! I just dont think we draft one this yearThen who plays RG? Reynolds is a free agent and needed to be upgraded anyway and Konz is moving to center. Johnson, Hawley, and Schwartz in your scenario are not solutions. We need an RG, whether you want to pick one up or not.

I think I heard, but it sort of makes since as he gets a bit older.

Kizu_7
would Holmes step in at RT then? When they took Holmes, that's what I thought ... My concern is his health. I don't remember if you had Baker walking or not, but he may be a better fit at right ... I think they tried that already? but it may be worth another look. That said, Holmes has the tools to be an NFL tackle - and you eventually have I see what you have there.I miss Dahl ...
