I would be all for him except for the age thing. He played against lesser competition, and because of his age, has even less time to get adjusted to the NFL, grow, and then stay in his prime. Unless he drops to the 3rd for some reason, I say no.

If he learns quickly how to leverage that big azz body, he could be unstoppable. But then again, that is the risk...

There's nothing that Margus hunt does screams of Peria Jerry. Only thing is he is older at 26, big deal??? He has two contracts in him for a DE either way. He actually has more burst than Jerry without the injury history, and is an all around athlete. I'm telling you based on the eye test, if this guy learns to tackle and fit his gaps he can be the LDE that we've been dying to get. If you think datone jones is good, this guy's potential is much more to salivate about.

Look at how he gets to the passer, its a thing of beauty;

He makes all the DE's the falcon posses (minus Abraham) look like they are playing with a towing boot on their leg.

I'm not going to lie, after seeing his combine and how fluid/athletic he looked, I wouldn't be too upset with this pick, but I still think there will be better value left at #30.

The guy is really raw and has only played the sport of football 4 years, there's a lot of potential there, but that's mostly all it is; potential.

he ran a 4.6 40 yard dash, thats faster than all the LBs did today with the exception of the top 2. Thats faster than Alec Ogletree LMAO.

This guy is a can't miss prospect, I want him NOW.

You have to keep in mind this guy was literally a track and field star before signing up for football at SMU. He's an exciting project I'll admit, but a big one.

his pass rushing skills remind you of JJ watt and Kerney though,

What he needs is to learn how to play run defense and fit his gaps well. He also needs to wrap up, but he already has the most important component down.

Being a great athlete is a very good thing.

Highlight reals are a terrible way to analyze a player. His bowl game is also a poor example when you consider how poorly those tackles played, and how badly he did only a few weeks later at the Senior Bowl. This is a better representation of what he'll be like in the NFL, and it's not very good:

and that's against Olinemen that probably won't get drafted.
