Gibson's Finest
Do you think Quizz is a 3 down back because apparently Smitty thinks so. This could alter the views of us who think we need another back to compliment Quizz. Who knows. Just thought I'd share
xskyx
I think we should use quizz on first and second down while drafting a speedster for third down and ST
Exp
I don't, but i guess we will see.If he is, than Ewing/Snelling become the power backs in short yardage situations and Quizz handles mostly everything else. It can work, but i am skeptical regarding the thought. I would like to see quizz get stronger, if possible, so he is more of a threat between the tackles.Time will tell, though. I think he is more of a change of pace back that would work well in the RBBC approach.

delaigle
I'm not yet convienced he is a 1 down back YETcome on all 3 backs had terrible YPCyet everyone want to lose Turner and Keep Rodger/Snelling both of whom were just as bad as Turner in YPC Edited February 25, 2013 by delaigle
Sun Tzu 7
Can quizz play on all 3 downs? YesIs he a 'feature back' that gets a majority of the snaps? No Quizz is probably best used in a rotation and isn't the answer.

muskokas finest ©
Quizz can play all 3 downs, but probably couldn't handle the number of touches the term implies.
THE ICEMAN
Quizz can play all 3 downs, but probably couldn't handle the number of touches the term implies.I agree He can handle 250 carries or so but throw in 50 + catches and that's a lot for any body he could do it but we may do the same thing we did with turner and over work him
THE ICEMAN
More big runs and limited touched should equate to a higher YPC---- but 10"Give him 150 more carries and I'm pretty sure he'd be around 4.5 And really the last couple of year for turner even when he had good years he was a 4.5 ypc guyPlus the OL will be upgraded with Konz at center and Reynolds back at guard or some in from then draft Larry Wolford??? smashmouthjoe
300 touches is a lot of work. Only 13 players carried the ball 250 or more times last season. He doesn't have enough speed or elusiveness to be a feature back. He is average at best, but adequate....IF... we draft or get a back with those features in Free Agency.
Hashbrown3
I think y'all are selling quizz short. LOL, but no pun intended! I think he is a little work horse. Given the opportunity, he would shine. Just look how many games he influenced in a positive way. Anyways, I have no issues of us looking for another RB in the draft whatsoever.Additionally, what is up with the Shonn Green rumors... Has anyone confirmed we have legit interest? JayOzOne
No but if coach says so, then we gotta ride with thatSmitty trying to throw misinformation out about our draft plans. He's hoping other teams will let RBs slide for another round thinking that we won't get them first and at some point we'll either take a player a little late or reach to get him a little early. I don't see Quizz as our feature back next season.
