Are you offering deals or are you tendering?

My mistake I will tender Velasco and Matthews..

Velasco will be tendered with a Level 2 tender: $1,750,000 tender for Right of first refusal and 2nd round draft pick.

Matthews will be tendered with a Level 1 tender: $1,000,000 tender for Right of first refusal and draft selection at the players original salary level.

Just to clarify, are we supposed to be saving any cap space for signing rookies and stuff? Or is our allocated cap space exclusively for free agency?

The draft will not be counted against your cap space. Rookies are considered to be signed to money set aside in a 'Rookie Wage Pool'.

Clemons the 2012 sack leader for the Seahawks (11.5) is released to several reasons. The injury history coupled with the emergence of Bruce Irving. Clement was set to count $8.1M against the cap, the reason ending injury suffered in the Wildcard victory over the Redskins will have Clemons sidelined midway thru the 2013 season according to doctor reports.

Leon Washington was brought in to help take touches away from Lychn. Robert Turbin has passed him on the depth chart and Washington was bumped down to ST. Costing nearly $3M against the cap Leon Washington has been released to free agency to try out for another team in need of a short yardage GL back.

I know this is in the wrong thread, but is it correct?

https://sites.google.com/site/afmdimd/2012-salary-cap-info

That's the info for salary caps.

And you can only release two players max, and you will receive only 75% of their salary cap relief not to exceed $7.5 million TOTAL.

Just out of curiosity mumblesjr, why would you offer a higher cap hit for Bowe in his year 1 contract than it would cost to franchise him and take him off of the market...

I think I'm supposed to offer Dwyer a tender. Just in case I'd like to offer him a Level 2 Tender for 1.75 mil and the first refusal rights and the 2nd round pick rather than the contract below. If he's not tender eligible I'll stick with the contract below. Sorry still getting the hang of this stuff.
