SaintsFanInLA
I was just wondering, what were some of the biggest regrets in sports history from both a player's perspective and that of ownership. I am thinking NFL but it doesn't have to be just NFL related.Off the top of my head, I can remember Art Modell saying that he really regretted trying to force Jim Brown's hand to come back to training camp and started fining him daily which led to Brown retiring early. I can also remember thinking that whether they admit it or not, the Saints lettng the Great Dane Morten Andersen hit free agency and ending up with the Falcons HAS to be a huge regret. I also think that maybe Tiki Barber regretted retiring the year before the Giants won their first SB with Eli Manning. And maybe if the Chargers regret letting both Brees and Sproles go to the Saints. Can you think of any others?

Falconcheff
Didn't some team draft Sam Bowie instead of Michael Jordan?Personally, biggest regret is not forcing the ball to HOF TE Tony Gonzales not ONCE in four downs from the twelve yard line in the NFCCG

JabooAlwaysWins
Cena winning would have been a passing of the torch. Punk hasn't carried the federation the last decade.Cena has been the face of the WWE in the last 8 yrs? I don't think he needs it. But how do you have The Rock who's last match a year ago beat CM Punk who has defended it for 400+ days.

Also, how does he not have new material? I'm beyond sick of The Rock. His time came and went. He's a movie star, not a wrestler.

Joe, and Pain and Gain but once he come back his career skyrocketed from him being a B-list star to an A-list. Great career move by him.

Rave
Here's the reason why. Wrestling isnt real, its scripted!Exactly. Which means Vince is putting a former wrestler before the current roster. Its like hiring Joe Montana and starting him over Kaepernick.
Ethanga62890
Exactly. Which means Vince is putting a former wrestler before the current roster. Its like hiring Joe Montana and starting him over Kaepernick. But it's fake. Not real.
Rave
But it's fake. Not real.I understand that. Hence someone deciding who wins. I was discussing the business side of it. That's what doesn't make sense to me. Anyone that thinks wrestling isn't purely entertainment is naive.
