roddyyoudaman
I think if Tony Gonzalez really had full intentions of retiring at this point, he would have already done it.Yes I realize that just because we haven't heard a decision doesn't actually mean anything, but the hesitation by him does represent a lot.Maybe he wants to see just how our offseason plays out before committing to another season. It's obvious that he's ready to move on to the next chapter of his life, but I believe winning that playoff game was just enough to excite and motivate Tony for one final season. I have a good feeling we haven't seen the last of #88 in a Falcons uniform.Mark my words.Edit: Right after I posted this I saw this on PFT, just thought I'd share, glad Mike Smith is trying to get an answer out of Tony sooner rather than later.http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/02/13/falcons-have-no-timetable-for-gonzalez-decision/ Edited February 13, 2013 by roddyyoudaman
since68andcounting
I agree. I think it's like they say about juries. The longer they deliberate the more likely an acquittal.
