Guest King Jigsaw
Reports are out that the Philadelphia Eagles have signed Vick to a one year deal to compete against Nick Foles for the starting job.Thoughts?
LookAboutFalcon
Best option available that I see. Nothing good in the FA or in the draft class.
The Falchemist
There aren't many options available, but I would've made a play for Alex Smith before keeping MV around.Dah well. This should be entertaining.
Padawan Knight
Poor YKW… He signed a one year restructured deal worth up to 10 million. That is a loss of 5.5 million this year from his previous year. I wish I could take a 5.5 million paycut and still end up with the potential to make 10 million.Stupid Iggles!!! Da Bird is Da Word
Guess they're giving him one last chance to see if there wasn't any other reason for his mediocre season other than him just not performing. As an outside observer I think it makes sense but if I were an Eagles fan I would probably want him gone now. lol
putnam6
I bet Vick does better with shorter incentive laden contract, than with the big long term guaranteed one, seems like he always did. Well he will if they improve the OL too.
Big_Dog
He'll get hurt trying and Nick will win out.
JPPT1974
Vick is a great QB when he is healthy but it hard for him to stay healthy to play down sixteen years a season.
alwaysfallforward
Vick was good until he tried to become more of a traditional pocket QB, he now sucks. Stick to what your good at, because no matter how much conventionalists want to believe its not true, you really can win with a different type of QB
Willy Mo
I guess which QB they pick is the difference between 6-10 and 8-

I think they're better off with MV than Alex Smith. Not really praise for MV but I think Alex Smith is going to be just like Matt Cassel after he left NE.
