Francis York Morgan
EDIT: Meant to post this in the draft forum, oh well. Mods can delete this one or leave it since this section of the board is more popular, but I'm reposting it there as well.I decided to create this as a frame of reference for mock drafting. I may or may not update it, but at any rate, it should at least be very useful to get an idea of where the people really in the know believe certain players are going to be drafted. What I basically did was figure out which sites I've used over the years are the most accurate, and have drafts up right now, and narrowed it down to three (CBS Sports, Draft Insider, and Draft Countdown). Then I listed the high, the low, and the average, and ranked them according to that, along with where I believe they'll most likely go in a more vague sense so as to account for whether a pick “slipped” or is a “reach.” If there was a tie with the mean average, I used my own sense of who I believed was better as a factor in deciding who was ranked where. Sub 150 or unranked picks were largely postulate by myself of where they'd rank according to the site runner.Hopefully some of you mockers find it useful. Should be great through the 4th or so.Top 120 Big Board1. Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M | High: 1 | Low: 6 | Weighted Average: 2.67 | Consensus: Top Five2. I would rather have Luke McCownThis isn't what I think. It's the consensus. He's almost universally ranked at 13-14, which, combined with the variation in the rankings of others, puts him in the 11 spot.If I wasn't objective, my rankings would be all over the place. I have very specific opinons on players.

Do u think he is good?I honestly don't like any of the QBs in this draft too much. Barkley is the closest thing to a "sure" thing, and even he doesn't wow me. Manuel is alright, as is Nassib. But it's just really subpar compared to the last couple drafts.I think Geno Smith is good, sure. But I don't think he's going to be great. Five_Fifs
Dude....what's your address, I'ma send you some cash....I feel like you should be paid to for taking time to do this lmaoAll jokes aside, the beauty of it is that merging some legitimate mocks into a form like this is a pretty good balance of subjective talent analysis, team need, and objectivity. Gives you an idea of who truly may go where and who may still be around when we pick.Interesting to see the first halfback going around 45, Gives me some hope we can get more food for our dollar in the 3rd or 4th roundSo much better than say, a true Big Board that has Chance Womack, for instance, # 4, but has him actually getting drafted somewhere around

I still would rather have a guard (Warford) or DT/DE though. That's why the trade back makes sense; our positions of need will be there if we trade back - it's more a matter of successfully trading back in the first place. The Rams are a likely partner. I'm definitely going to use this as a reference when I create my mock draft - waiting to get to 100 posts lol. But great job!
Sheldon Cooper
If the draft went like that I'd take Kawaan Short rd 1, Gavin Escobar rd 2, and Leon Mcfadden rd 3.
markdzul
Not that we need him, or would even entertain the thought of drafting him, but Robert Woods from USC is going to make a team very happy in the second round.. reminds me a lot of wes welker. Karst41
I applaud the effort for this Big Board.Trufant @ #30???This board had 2 OG's rated much much higher. Now ask yourself this.Your team is on the Clock in the first round. You are going to choose an OG over probably the best CB inthis years draft class?the First round is for your exceptional and key play makers.Every team wants Warmack, and why wouldnt they? But to wave off a Top CB, WR,LT, QB for a guard. NO.

NO.Did you read the post? This isn't my opinion. This is basically the average stock the intelligent draft sites put into certain players, averaged out and put into one place for convenience sake. I had pretty much no part in choosing where guys went. This is just a realistic outlook of where most guys are ranked.EDIT: And yeah, I'd take Warmack over Trufant (though optimally, I'd take Warford after trading down). Sue me. :P Edited February 11, 2013 by TuggIe2
Cam Topdrew Bottom
because he isnt any good. If he was so good dont u think the chiefs would want him?Yes and I bet they do. I think he will be the first pick. Cam was mocked at the back half of round one this time in 2011.Just because he isn't a can't Andrew Luck type prospect doesn't mean he isn't a good prospect.
