Tuggle'2
If he could be gotten for cheaper then the vet min?
Butudontseeme™
Why not want him???I dont like him honestly. He's a wannabe John Abraham that doesn't play the run half as well. People talk about ray Edwards benefiting from a good d line, look at this cat. Now, he definitely is better than Deadwards but we don't have that much talent here to help him out with. TheFalconRises
You don't fix an aging pass rush by signing another old DE.
crankdatfalcon
You don't fix an aging pass rush by signing another old DE.You see it as old, I see it as experience...you also don't get to superbowls with rookie, inexperienced players..the ravens and 49ers both have experienced players, no extremely young players on the defensive side of the ball.. g-dawg
You don't fix an aging pass rush by signing another old DE.I agree.....you cannot chase past production with an aging player - Falcons already have too much age in key places - time to get younger. Falcanuck
We need to go for it all next year. Why not vet min? Better than what we have and probably better than any rookie we could bring in right away.

jfalconsp
i thought i saw this scroll on nfl network but i'm not seeing it on internet right now ???? maybe I had too much wine tonight?Granted I was drinking wine too, but I saw it scroll on the bottom of nfl network too while watching total access. Plenty of other FA DE's I'd rather TD look at than Osi. I'd take him on the cheapppp, I'm sure someone will pay him better money somewhere though. Tuggle'2
Osi won't take vet min.Yeah , guarantee he won't and that another team will give him more then we would offer.
Guest Negatorris
A team one year removed from winning a Sb is just dropping players like it's nothing.

Cam Topdrew Bottom
I dont like him honestly. He's a wannabe John Abraham that doesn't play the run half as well. Now, he definitely is better than Deadwards but we don't have that much talent here to help him out with.Who was Osi benefitting from? He was usually the best guy on that DL.It obviously depends on the price but he is only a year removed from posting 13 sacks in 13 games and he is only 31 which isn't crazy old for a pass rusher. Now I'm not sure I want him mostly because he will cost at like 6-7 mill but people here acting like he sucks at football is just foolish. J-Wall
I'd take him at a 2yr no more than 3mil per

DMT11
Osi was getting worked this year, beacuse Tuck was taking plays off so ppl could focus on him and JPP - Osi is not done - dont think we get him, esp since I think we are moving to more 3-4 base
JRid
Released? I thought Osi was a free agent.

Brush up on your knowledge bro.

Brush up on your knowledge bro.He only played like 9 games with stud JPP, he is better then Tuck and Osi didn't break out until Strahan was pretty much done. From 05-2010 Osi was the Giants best DL.Brush up on your knowledge bro.
Falcon's Talons
NO, No, and no! Cliff Avril is the FA that the Falcons should go after. He's the right age. has decent size, very good pass rusher and is a run stuffer. We don't need "re-treads" on defense. Enough said.
Abe
Who wouldn't want him on their team? I'd be surprised if we don't take a chance on him.
