Falconwhit
I feel like my dog died, my girlfriend broke up with me, and I was one digit away from winning the lottery. Today I'm supposed to be in New Orleans. I'm supposed to still be wearing my #2 jersey. I'm supposed to be hungover from too many hurricanes and monsoons on Bourbon street. Really, I'm just still angry today. Up 17-0 for gawd sakes. I know there are like 5 stages of grief, but I am nowhere near "forgiveness" right now. ya_boi_j
Was over it an hour after the game. I've gotten so use to all my teams losing it doesn't even botherme anymore. Some of you just take a game that you don't and some have never played to serious.
The Falchemist
It comes and goes in waves.I sat in the Dome for about 45 minutes after the game in a daze, and tried my best to ignore all the Niners fans who came over to halfheartedly console me. Ever since then, I've been avoiding everything sports/football related. The game is still sitting on my DVR and I refuse to watch it. Not anytime soon, anyway. Mr. Right
If you didn't expect the Falcons to win, then you won't be dissapointed. You can want them to win, but don't expect it. Edited February 2, 2013 by Mr. Right
falcon124
Erased it from my DVR. Haven't watched anything NFL related since the loss. Will literally turn on TV at kickoff and try to watch SB. It was all lined up for us. If you didn't expect the Falcons to win, then you won't be dissapointed. You can want them to win, but don't expect it.Uh, shut up. I Even Bleed Red
Depressed, no. I'm mad that the SB could have been a lot more special that what it will be. Still, falling 10 yards short of the SB is nothing to scoff at. We have a very good team and we'll be making annual SB runs...haven't had that feeling in a long time, so that feels good and puts a smile on my face. whitekb011
Yes... I've watched the first of the NFCCG about 5 times and everytime I get to the 3rd quarter, I fast forward to that last drive. This still hurts.
Mr. Right
Uh, shut up. Give it a try. You won't be dissapointed, and if anything, you might end up with a pleasant surprise.
Mattbob_Icepants
I'm either over it or in a massive state of denial, lol. What really bums me though is that there won't be anything interesting nfl related for lots of months.. at least my team's season starts in may... HEIST
I was bummed, then I realized how close we were and how we have a full draft. Imho the Seattle game had wayyy more pressure. If we lose that one, Smitty is gone and there's no chance we get Tony G back. On top of that we would've had to sit through another season with 0-4 in the back of our heads
freebird310
It takes a long long time to heal when you've been butt slammed by a Zebra .....
Xfactor
Yes because of how close we were to the SB and how beatable the Ravens are..

matty harrington
Yes because of how close we were to the SB and how beatable the Ravens are..we are obviously more beatable than the ravens. that fact will be solidified when they beat san fran. paulitik
Yeah, I'm still boycotting all sports related TV. It sickens me to know that the freaking Niners are going. It's uncanny how UGA and Atlanta were pretty much a 4th down and 10 or less yards from playing in very winnable Championship games. It's gut wrenching.
Falcon Fantom
I am not depressed, i am heart broken! We are the best team in the nfl imo. Smfh!
OC
It really hurts being in NOLA. I spoke with someone who met Roddy yesterday (I think she's working with the league or something) and she told me that apparently Julio has taken this really hard. Word is he hasn't left his house since the game. It's understandable.

I did renew my season tickets for next year. It's a very long offseason, too long.
