I believe we need to focus on the Defense for picks 1, 2, and 3.

I think we go DT, DE, LB for picks 1 to 3.

Round 1: J. Jenkins, DT

Round 2: Margus Hunt, DE

Round 3: Chase Thomas, OLB

Not sure I agree with the picks, but I essentially agree on the order, though I'm hoping that we just pick up Daryl Smith in FA, so we can take a RB higher, then we can get a guy like Keith Pough in the 4th.

I don't think we will be dead set on drafting by position. If a better LB or DE prospect than DT falls we will take him. And for your picks heck no. Chase Thomas looked like poop in the Senior Bowl and Hunt is a questionable guy too.

Colts, Saints, Steelers(reportedly letting an old Casey Hampton walk), and Eagles(possibly switching to a 3-4) may all have alot of interest in him.

NTs typically need to be rotated more than most other players because they tire more quickly because of how they're built. Jenkins would have to lose 30 pounds to get to the size of most NFL NTs, but if he does that then he loses one of his main advantages of being so huge. If he stays his current size then we'd have to pick up another NT because I have no confidence in him being able to not be exhausted by half time like he was in the Alabama game and don't think he'd fare well if a team went no huddle against us.

I can't say what the priorities should be ordered as until I see what we do in free agency and whether TG hangs them up or not.

I'd rank our needs as:

1) DE

2) LB

3) DT

4) G/C

5) TE

6) RB

Not sure who is realistic for our d but I'm positive td and smith will target a big time d tackle or d end in free agency to solidify the pass rush.

I'd like to see a ball hawk lb as first pick if there's one out there assuming the line is addressed thru free agency.
