whitekb011
I believe we need to focus on the Defense for picks 1, 2, and 3.I think we go DT, DE, LB for picks 1 to 3.Round 1: J. Jenkins, DTRound 2: Margus Hunt, DERound 3: Chase Thomas, OLBI would really like to see that happen.
Gibson's Finest
I agree with what you think our draft should go
hjerry
Not sure I agree with the picks, but I essentially agree on the order, though I'm hoping that we just pick up Daryl Smith in FA, so we can take a RB higher, then we can get a guy like Keith Pough in the 4th. Psychic Gibbon
If they got Jenkins and Hunt then I would throw my TV out of the window. Jenkins has zero conditioning and exhausts himself way too easily and Hunt is the most overrated prospect in the entire draft.
Adam25
Hunt probably won't be their in the second, but if he fell, I would love this draft. I also wouldn't mind going best availabe LB or RB at
Clark Kent™
I don't think we will be dead set on drafting by position. If a better LB or DE prospect than DT falls we will take him. And for your picks heck no. Chase Thomas looked like poop in the Senior Bowl and Hunt is a questionable guy too.

Thomas i OLB that can also play both schemes. Our DL, stunk in the NFC CG, we are light and cannot anchor against a big OL. We need to increase our size and power. Kilgore Trout
Like the way you're thinking, just not the players you're liking.
DonOfThemBirds
I'm not sure If Jenkins is there at 30.Colts, Saints, Steelers(reportedly letting an old Casey Hampton walk), and Eagles(possibly switching to a 3-4) may all have alot of interest in him. We need to increase our size and power.NTs typically need to be rotated more than most other players because they tire more quickly because of how they're built. Jenkins would have to lose 30 pounds to get to the size of most NFL NTs, but if he does that then he loses one of his main advantages of being so huge. If he stays his current size then we'd have to pick up another NT because I have no confidence in him being able to not be exhausted by half time like he was in the Alabama game and don't think he'd fare well if a team went no huddle against us. mumblesjr
i would like the draft to go that way, but not the players. jon jekins is starting to slip in most mocks now.
falconstwopercentsized
Next two drafts falcons should go for pass rush with their no. 1's.
slamee101
I can't say what the priorities should be ordered as until I see what we do in free agency and whether TG hangs them up or not.I'd rank our needs as:1) DE2) LB3) DT4) G/C5) TE6) RB
Dominique is Manufique
Free agency will determine what position we draft. Not sure who is realistic for our d but I'm positive td and smith will target a big time d tackle or d end in free agency to solidify the pass rush.I'd like to see a ball hawk lb as first pick if there's one out there assuming the line is addressed thru free agency. kane#7
If Warford is available in the 2nd, I want the Falcons rep running to the stage to pick him.
