Numbaz
I like Chase Coffman.Let the O-line coach work on his blocking technique all offseason. Draft a RB and an OG. The rest of the draft and free agency should be strictly spent on the front 7 of the defense. Fellow Falcons' fans need to be realistic. None of those TE FAs will be as productive as Tony G. Some of them are alright but not worth the money to have Coffman on bench.PPl can say what they want about Harry Douglas but he's a solid slot receiver and once he's targeted more as the 3rd option he will step up. Kilgore Trout
I'd rather sign a FA TE than waste a first round pick on one.I'm going to be irrationally angry if we draft a TE in the first.
Dharma Initiative
I really wanted to see more of what Chase Coffman could do this past season. But we didn't really use him. Not to mention we cut him and brought him back. But he is athletic and won the award for best tight end in the country his senior year

He has never really lived up to the hype. Granted, he hasn't gotten the receptions either, but I'd rather have the 3 guys above before him. He'd be my next guy up though. coleboard56
Thank god some more Coffman believers! I think he can turn into an animal!I believe that we try to get Cooper in the first round at OG, a PURE pass rusher in the second, another OL in the third. Sign Peyton Hillis!! Kizu_7
I don't think he is a FA. But Houston has a guy, James Casey, who they play at FB/TE ... he has good hands and might be somebody that could be brought in to add a better blocking TE to this team. LookAboutFalcon
What basis are you guys coming off of that Chase Coffman is any good?Career stats are, 4 receptions for 41 yards. No way we go into the season with him as our starter.Give me Jermichael Finley if the Packers do not resign him or Fred Davis. AUGFalcon
Delaine Walker? Not sure of his blocking skills. Didn't he emerge as a pass catcher this season?
