ya_boi_j
Middleton was a great nickel before getting injured 2 years ago in Jacksonville

Matt_The Iceman_Ryan
Are you neglecting the other defensive players drafted during that time?Spoon, DeCoud, Willie Mo, Akeem D??? Lofton (not with team anymore)I get your point thought, that we have not used our top picks to address the defensive line and secondary, however if you look at the names above, you will see a 1st, 2 2nds, and a 3rd....TD missed on Jerry, however coming out of CFB, Jerry was very dominant, and there was no way to predict that he would ahve a season ending knee injury, and that it would sevealy affect his play...I think you will see DLine as a priority early this draft...This might also show our coaches inability to develop mid-late round defensive line talent??? Ray Hamilton?? BVG???Any other thoughts??? I still think that Nolan's scheme and Nicholas got exposed v. SEA and SF...

Dent isn't speical, James and Adkins never play... it goes both ways. And I don't know why I made this thread, lol. I was looking back and was a bit shocked to see how bad we've been drafting at these positions.

You can't keep missing in rounds 1-3 when teams like SF are hitting the jackpot again and again. Edited January 23, 2013 by Creative

Cheyakita
Yeah don't be comparing SF picks with ours, they just recently removed themselves from being doormats. There's a reason the crappy teams get high picks, so parity will come around and keep the league fresh.
sdogg
That is some overall horrible picks. I hope TD allows Nolan to pick the defensive guys in the draft and FA. We have to hit a HR this offseason.
