All The Negativity Is Getting Old. We Were 13-3 And 1 Play Away From The Sb

We are here to stay. We are built very well just need a few more pieces to the puzzle. We will be back hosting this same game next year. Book it

Not really. Our team is not as young as some would like to believe. We've got aging players on both sides of the ball, most of which are key to the success of this team. We need good young talent, especially on defense.

A lot of the negativity is becasue opportunities like yesterday don't come around very often. Who knows how man years we have to wait before we get to the conference championship again.

We've waited since 66 to host a championship game, then blow a 17 point lead at home when we get it, in a game when just 7 second half points would have been enough to win it.

I like the attempt at being positive after a tough loss but lets be real...every team says they'll be back, we're on the verge, etc. Doesn't mean it works out that way. We thought (many of us anyway) that we'd be back after '98 & '04. Didn't happen for a long time and some major changes took place before it did.

I think it's ok at this stage to 1) Ask what went wrong? 2) Saying that anything less than a SB isn't a success.

Close. Still hurts because it's fresh and it was a golden opportunity. Hopefully it'll happen for us at some point but it's hardly a formality. It's a tough task to win it all.

The Flacco ravens have been to the AFC championship game 3 of the last 5 years. This year they made it to the SB. Just gotta be patient.

The big difference though obviously is that they did all that in their first 5 years with their new QB. We're definitely behind in that regard. We're 1 for 5.

I thought about this earlier, '08 was Harbaugh's 1st year too right?

He inherited a more playoff ready team but they've stumbled on their journey of getting to the big game as well. Even with the D aging I think you gotta say they've had more talent on that side of the ball.

Give Ryan that defense we would be talking about the Falcons going to the Super Bowl. Plus the AFC is VERY weak. The NFC is loaded with good teams and good QBs.

Guest Negatorris

What's funny is a lot of the people here were saying we wouldn't even get pass the 1st round, and now their super pissed because we lost the championship game.

Well, the Ravens have never hosted a championship game, and they're going to their second Super Bowl.
