FalconFanSince1970
Anybody see Grimes working out on the field during warm ups? He had on shorts, no pads. Didn't look gimpy at all. I took a couple pics of him for proof. Hopefully I won't have to post em up. Just trust me on this one. What should we do about him next year? Re-sign him or let him walk? I would say, re-sign him, cut RobbinUs, re-sign McClain, let Franks and Beans walk, draft a young corner to groom and sign a vet FA for depth (maybe Beans, but hopefully someone better). falcndave
I think he is too athletic to stay healthy. I also think tall WRs have abused him even in his best years. I'd resign him if he is willing to take a discount.I think he will get the Snelling/Lofton treatment. "Here is our offer, take it or go fish." The Mattural
Keep him, we need him.Keep him if he doesn't cost a ton , if he's wanting a massive contract he's gone. We had other guys step up and play well this year without him. We need a pass rush and maybe another linebacker who can cover a **** tight end. mnfalcon
We'd still be perfect if BG were healthy. No losses en route to a 19-0 record.
Sui_Generis
Keep him for the right price. We have to let Robinson go. He can go catch that concussion lawsuit list with the way he plays. Not the right kind of bang for the buck.
Dharma Initiative
I'm fine with our corners as is. We need a pass rush in the worst way. Get that and we are fine in the secondary
FalconFanSince1970
13 picks, 56 PDs and a Pro Bowl appearance in 43 starts, which is basically three seasons, is good production and worthy of at least 80% of what we're paying RobbinUs. vel
Spend that money on the DLine if anything. I like Grimes, but Robinson, Samuel and McClain are a good trio. Spending that much money on 4 corners with a sub par DLine is a waste. I'd rather spend that contract on another position
Jamesgall13
I hope we can resign him cause I really do not like Robinson. Asante, McClain, Grimes and a new corner would do me.

wartownfalcon
Samuel and Robinsson have done their part all year. When a QB has all day to throw, WRs abandon their routes and start playing street ball. A corner can only keep a WR covered for so long. Our problem is the defensive front. No push and no sacks. Dude was demoted to nickel before Grimes got hurt. He has a cap hit somewhere north of $10M next year. McClain is even better than him IMO. Grimes and Asante on the outside with McClain in the slot = better coverage = better pass rush.
falconstwopercentsized
Owens mcclain asante and dunta all stepped up this year, I'd re-sign him just because falcons are gonna lose corners. I'd say if grimes makes it too hard to re-sign him and beef up the front 7 athletically let him walk. There's no reason are corners should have to be kill shotting running backs. They should be down on the ground before that has time to happen.
Taydumz
Dunta did force a fumble yesterday! Honestly he is a better nickle corner if we could have asante dunta grimes it would be good Edited January 21, 2013 by Taydumz

Hoopaloop21
I think we keep him if he will sign for cheap however I don't think Mrs. Grimes will let that happen based on her involvement last off season!

LADBABY
I am neutral on our current corners but what I think we need is taller cornersauditioning until we find some that can move. We will be better off with the largerguys if we can find them.
