It Won't Take Much To Make This Team Unstoppable Next Season

This "loss" at the hands of the refs is hard to swallow but Blank is already scheming on his revenge.

WHAT NEEDS TO BE FIXED TO CRUSH SAN FRANCISCO NEXT YEAR

1. This team needs a Nose Tackle. BADLY. The team gets gashed by the run, which means they can't get off the field and get worn down. San Fran, Baltimore and New England all have legit nose tackles, we don't. And it cost us.

2. Just as big of a need as NT is Defensive End. Abe is 34 and playing through injury constantly. The position has been neglected for too long. We need atleast 1 true impact DE added, and would be wise to add a second of some ability. The pass rush is not good enough and needs to be fixed.

3. Take care of the FA situation. Gonzalez sounds like he's retiring, hopefully he sleeps on it and realizes how close he is to that ring, and Arthur throws him a nice signing bonus and promises to make some big moves. Baker is a FA I'd prefer Jake Long but we'll see what happens. Grimes is a FA and will probably walk. Moore is a FA hopefully he's resigned, if not there are a number of good safeties set to hit FA. Moore is very talented hopefully he can stay healthy he's a force.

That's basically it. We were robbed but still would have been good enough to win that game with a few more pieces.

Turner will probably be cut due to his salary cap and we will likely draft a speed back in the mid rounds.

If Tony retires we'll have to target one of the FAs there are a couple good ones if they hit the market.

The OL needs to be sorted out Baker may be resigned but Id rather upgrade if we're spending the money. McClure will probably be replaced by Konz. The rookie OT may move to RT and move Clabo inside who knows.

At LB we could use another impact LB to pair with Spoon but probably will not have the cap space for it this offseason

At CB we will probably draft a corner to develop

At safety if Moore is not resigned there are a number of other good safeties hitting the market

We really need an explosive return threat in both return games. Hopefully a RB, CB or WR we draft can handle that

People need to understand how dominant this passing game is. Before the game I said looking at the rosters the only positions the Falcons are better than 9ers at are QB, receivers and kicker. Niners are better at RB, OL, DL, LB, Safety, and returners, CB might be a tie I dont know. I still expected us to win though because we have the better QB who is now a veteran and the best receiving corps in the game, and the league is built for passing now.

Some big moves are coming. The team better remember how Brooks planted Ryan into the ground and crushed his rib cage and return the favor in the rematch next year

SF, Baltimore and NE all run 34 defenses. The kind of tackles they want would be different from the kind that ATL wants. The 43 that ATL runs wouldn't be as effective with a massive slow guy in the middle as a somewhat big but more agile guy like Jonathan Babineaux. Unless you're talking about changing schemes.
