Sandy5prings
After the 4th down, Gonzo said "I was wide open" on the sideline. Sadly, he was open but Matty did not see him

freakyfalcon
yeah I was very surprised there. I thought for sure we would go to Gonzo regardless on that 4th down play
va2gafalcons
Yea I saw that too. He looked like he was emotionally drained. That's why he is not coming back he can't take it anymore. kenk
TG was open on that last play. I think Matt threw the ball to Roddy thinking he at least get a penalty..
MilleniumFalcon
He was wide open right behind Roddy, would've been an easy TD if Ryan threw to him.
Mattbob_Icepants
Mat thought it would be a penalty, what it obviously should have been

blackredfellow
Yep. Saw that. Saw that Tony G was wide open before he said that. Alas, it wasn't to be. Ryan hits gonzo we are probably in the super bowl. Wasn't to be. I'm heartbroken, but can't change the outcome. Matt Ryan and the rest of the Falcons showed heart. Always next year right? RS91
Mat thought it would be a penalty, what it obviously should have beenIf he was willing to put the game and the season in the hands of a bunch of zebras he isn't half as smart as he gets credit for. jbird84
After this game and the way it all went down do you guys think TG gives it one more go around? I'm kinda thinking he just might ya never know though he has said you can't chase Superbowls. This one was a heartbreaker but I'm proud of our guys bigtime we had a heckuva season and we gave 9ers all they could handle the way we played this year I think we'll get one for real sometime soon. GO FALCONS!!!

Brehus
Bad choice by Ryan even if Roddy caught the ball it still wouldn't have been a 1st down Edited January 20, 2013 by Brehus
fuego
He wasn't open during the play. I watched it several times. He didnt come open until Matt threw the ball and the d-backs let up because of it.
