Mike Johnson

Anybody else impressed with this guy? What are the chances of HIM being the answer to our RG problem? Maybe the FO wants to get Konz this playing time so that he can kick into C next year and then Mike Johnson and Garrett Reynolds battle it out for the RG spot. Johnson, in 32 pass blocks in and out over the course of the season, gave up 0 pressures. He's a pretty good run blocker, although that's more of a momentum role and with him not having more than 15 snaps in any game this season, it's kind of hard to judge.

I'm just saying, I'd love to see more from big Mike before leaping to the "omg RG is a gaping hole" conclusion.

He's had the chance 3 different times, everytime someone else was named the starting RG, pretty clear once he was moved to RT that his chances of starting ato RG were over

He's had more snaps at RG than at RT this year. I'd just like to see him more at RG...can't possibly be that much worse than Konz.

It will certainly be interesting to see how the situation is handled this offseason. Johnson rotted behind Boudreau, but has really improved under Hill. There's also Manley, and Gunn, who somehow has stuck around, so it's certainly possible that the coaching staff doesn't see OG as a big a priority as the fans do.
