Tandy Gossett
After reading this Mock Draft I got to thinking ... Wouldn't it be nice if we could trade up and take a top tier DE?I don't like trading away draft picks because the more you have the better the chance of picking a diamond. That being said would it be nice to have a Top 10 pick in this years draft? I wonder if Cleveland would like to trade w/ us again. I'd almost take Lacy in the 1st if he's still around, I don't like Linemen out of the MidWest ...Look where they have us picking too !!!http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1482995-2013-nfl-mock-draft-latest-projections-after-divisional-playoffs#/articles/1482995-2013-nfl-mock-draft-latest-projections-after-divisional-playoffs
Falcanuck
Need depth. Can't afford to do that for a DE, especially with the rate at which they are busts.
Guest facelessman07
IF we can still fix our O-line issues AND get Gonzo to stay another year, then I'd have no problem with it, barring Nolan's blessing is on this "top-tier" DE. Yesterday was painful to watch without Abe, thankfully we've got him 2 more years! But unlikely that these scenarios happen so we need our picks.. RVJATL
First of all, no need to draft a RB in the first round this year. Plenty of good RB, including Lacy, will fall into the 3rd round or so. Although, I would agree. I'd like to see us draft someone like Werner, but he's likely not going to be available by the time we're making our 1st pick.Second of all, >Bleacher Report. Francis York Morgan
I'd trade into the 20s for Ansah if he was still there. Don't want to trade more than that, though.
leftfield
DE is our biggest need presently there's talent on our roster but a real tasty prospect wouldn't hurt. However isn't this years draft class stacked with DE potentialTE is covered by Coffman et al RB will be interesting to see how high they reach - not sure if we need a guard, Svitech, Reynolds and Manley should factors next season! Guest Negatorris
Not this year. This years DE draft class is deep.
AtlanticFit
Maybe a few spots if there is someone really good in reach, but no way we do another blockbuster. We really don't need to. We need to develop the talent we have, and the talent we draft. You can't do that if you don't have draft picks.
freebird310
Helll , we may need to draft 2 DEs way its looking .....
raumin
Is it just me or is Eddy Lacey not on this list. He said he was coming out.

egoprime II
How about we forget drafting 4-3 ends, get a big NT and G in the first two rounds then look for RB, TE and BPA later on?
natod12
i hope we trade up for DE, the oline is almost fixed just need a RG and might not need that if reynolds comes back and konz goes center
gtjackets1729
Heck no. We have way too many needs to throw away this years and future drafts. You can't keep trading up year after year and expect to have enough depth to compete in future years.
xskyx
I'd rather not take a DE in the first.. like a guy above said, the bust rate is too high.I know what i do want tho.. I want Lacy.. Hopefully in the 2nd.
freebird310
I dont think we are moving up and at #32 big drop off at the premium guys, we need to find a Greg Hardy type guy in the 3rd or 4th round
Tuggle'2
I don't think I would trade up. That said I really really want somebody besides just poor Abe. Just once I want someone out there with him so its not always just on him. That just sounds awesome to me. Have a guy like a Allen or a Watt out there with Abe? Please lord allow us to find a competent DE for Abe's sake.
Culain_04
I don't want to trade up, we need all of our picks, Okafer and Randle would be good picks so i wouldn't be upset with it.
falcon90
I trust Nolan can get a dude or two that can be good passrushers for us.
