KGrillz
The DL looked weak when trying to get pressure on Wilson though I give the DL a ton of credit for shutting down Lynch. Falcons are just messing that pass rusher.
FalconBlood23
They job was to contain him and let him rub. That's what they did, didn't you see most of our DL kinda stop after they push? We need o line help and d line.
Guest Negatorris
It was like the defense sold out on stopping Lynch, that they didn't care about Russel Wilson's ability to throw.
The Great American
Haven't seen a lot of Russel Wilson but he wasn't over-hyped ... the kid is good. I agree with the OP. We've been drafting offense for the past five years ... let's build a championship defense.
Flip Wilson
OL and DL is where I would channel my efforts.
caveman
We need help on D, but we have at least 3 starters on offense that must be replaced - TE, RB, C.I know Konz will probably move to C, but we still have to settle on RG and whether to resign Baker. Falcons_own_nfc_south
most of Wilson throw went to his TE and I've no idea, who was supposed to cover him or bump him.
Dharma Initiative
Was Mike Nolan on the staff before we drafted last year? I'd like to see his input on a DE to get

Peyton
I agree. If Quiz is going to run like he did yesterday, he can be the feature back, and this offense is set.If we talk Gonzo into coming back, the only thing we have to do is resign Baker to keep this entire offense in tact, and it's good to go. Konz is going to get better and Hawley can take over at center. We need some help on defense though.
Peyton
and So Gonzalez gets replaced by ?PalmerGallardaNissleyCoffmanSyczerbaThe Falcons will have to survive with Palmer and Coffman at TE for a year or two. I think they can get it done. We just have to de-emphasize the TE position in the offense a little bit and shift some of that load over to Harry in the slot. Ergo Proxy
Offense is dependent on growth along OL.Defense needs another playmaker at LB and DEs/maybe a 3-4 NT 'meh'?However, after this game? I wouldn't mind a backfield of Turner and Quizz next year if OL changes get finished.Let's focus on the Super Bowl run, though. SEND THE VETS OUT WINNERS! muskokas finest ©
I don't know about all-defense, but everything being close to equal on your draft board, certainly the first 2 picks.

We just have to de-emphasize the TE position in the offense a little bit and shift some of that load over to Harry in the slot.you know if you look back Gonzalez took over Finneran's workload and de-emphized that WR role --- so it might be time to transition it back.. However many of the more successful teams are using 2 good TE " big receiver" types now. They might decide to head in that direction. Draftnut57
Not me... WE also need to continue strengthening the OL , But the worst thing this team needs is a big time return man. If we had one of those right now I'd say we would for sure be the favorites to win it all. But I do agree that is our biggest need other than a return man ... is a couple of superstars on the DL. Especially DE. Oh, and lets not forget we do need one RB and a great one. So I see it like this...but not necessarily in this order. It will be which players are where in the draft and how the talent will fall. But this is what I'd like to see drafted....DERT/RBDTOLDB Samuels is getting on the downside.of FB life.. Since we are only a few players away I think it may be good to trade up a few times to target the players we need to have the best team in the NFL.
