Farmer2
Not sure what his name is, but the fill in for Steve W on NFL AM just stated "Atlanta has no chance of winning this game." Eric Davis thought he was crazy. He also went on to say it's going to be a beat down. Please let this week go fast. Sunday can't get here quick enough. Greg M
Eric Davis is correct that dude IS nuts.. this game is winnable by us on so many different levels its not even funny.. just for one.. the Seahawks road record as a starting point.. DonOfThemBirds
That lets you know how clueless that guy is when he thinks that Nolan is not one of the best defensive coordinators.
Dharma Initiative
Steve Wyche goes out of his way to not look like a homer of the Falcons. I remember he constantly saying the Chiefs would take care of us in week 1.
knomercy
Bottom-line, similar to political media, sports media is driven on hyperbole. The more views, listeners, watchers, Tweets and Likes -- the more popular you get & the more money you make.5 game winning streak? "OMFG THESE GUYS ARE UNSTOPPABLE!". 5 game losing streak? "THESE LOSERS WILL NEVER WIN AGAIN, BLOW THE TEAM UP!" etc.Since most sports fans can't be bothered to watch games of OTHER teams that they really don't care about, we're left with a hyperbolic national & regional sports media dictating the way fans & the general public think about things -- hence every "fan" online using the tired "Matt is a choker!" & "One and done!" talking points that they hear ad nauseam on TV, on the net & satellite radio.Pay it all no nevermind.Time to win. BankerBird™
What I like most about this kind of talk is that all the Falcons players are hearing it, too, and will be motivated to not only beat the Seahawks, but to beat them badly. And, in doing so, to send a message to whoever wins the SF/GB that the Falcons are a team to be reckoned with.

vabchbirdlover
Guys who make bold statements such as "No chance" leave themselves no exit strategy in the event their predictions don't pan out.Playoff drought ends this Sunday!

Guest Negatorris
I love it. Same things being said before the 34-0 destruction of the Giants.
benny
im pretty sure we've only lost back to back games once in the Smitty/Ryan era and that was in 09. We'll be ready to end this playoff losing streak and go on a real run

DonOfThemBirds
This game will come down to how the offense plays because we already know that the defense will be going straight at Wilson and will be aggressively energized. nomak
Man alot of love to a team who was behind until just under 8 mins left in the fourth qrt against a team with a gimpy qb. If RG was healthy the Seahawks wouldnt had a chance.

If RG was healthy the Seahawks wouldnt had a chance. That seemed to be a theme of the NFC this weekend. Not that Ponder would've beaten GB, but he'd have done A LOT better than Joe Webb. Seattle lucked out with playing a team whose QB shouldn't have been playing. Seriously, Cousins should've been playing the entire 2nd half at least.
