Fiddlin John Carson
I like the seahawks...really I do. Tough, physical..underdogs that came out of no where to claim a wild card. I got much respect for the job Carroll has done. But their fantasy ends next Sunday....in a sudden...violent....dream crushing kinda way. That cough vaunted defense...built on the top cough notch offenses they played in the NFC west.....does not elicit any fear or dread in the falcon offense....none whatsoever. Y'all may hang tough till the 3rd quarter or so...then the obvious lack of desire to tackle Turner, Snelling, and Quiz will be on display for the whole country to watch....and your safeties won't be any help having to keep the top from being blown slap off your coverage 15 yards from the LOS.And your offense...it's nice. I like a good running game. The falcon defense handed the Manning bros two of their worst showings ever. They shut the saints down in the second game. You wanna talk about being physical? Y'all wanna talk about intimidating our offense?? BWAAAAHahahahaaa....You just wait. You don't know physical....but you're gonna. Remember these names...Babineux....Bierman....Weatherspoon.....Moore...and little ole Dunta Robinson...brings the pain like a mack truck. Your offense will.Oh...then there's those 70,000 screamin drunk Falcon fans who will occupy the minds, ears, and souls of your offense when it has the ball. BadMoonRising
Nope they are overrated. Everyone in the nfl that aren't named the falcons are overrated. Everyone has an easier schedule than we do. We have the best offense ever and best defense ever. If we bring our A game , this is the best nfl team in history. If you criticize us and our schedule, we will be majorly offended, because it is much harder than yours. If we lose a game it's because we don't care to win. If opposing fans feel their teams can beat us, we will scream disrespect and point out how ******** they are. We constantly check other forums to make sure everyone is gushing and in love with the Falcons, and when we find out no one takes us seriously, we will be seriously butt hurt. Everyone should at all times admit we are better than they are, we have won tons of playoff games and superbowls to back up our swag.We are the Saints fan baseOh oops I meant FalconsYou are such a tool swift. BadMoonRising
I think Seattle goes to the super bowl and loses to Denver.I hope the team has more talent on its roster, because the fans representing them in the trash talking on another teams forums leaves a lot to be desired. If you need tape, watch what our offense has done to your defense in your house the last two times we faced. You guys sadly got the worst match up in the playoffs you could ever wanted, I mean Seattle is walking into a trap! The good news for you is our team actually kneels down and understands this isn't college football. Atlbirdawg
I think they are a legit Defense but it is a team effort that took a big hit with Clemons' injury. Sherman & Browner are good, not great corners that befinefit from an aggressive and constant blitz. They are long and fairly fast but susceptible to double moves and sharp timing routes. Earl Thomas is IMO the best Safety in football right now and he's the reason the CB's can take chances. They are not as solid in the middle of the field and Irvin at DE makes them weaker against the run. Irvin has played well for them this year w/ 8 sacks but he's only in on passing downs, he will be forced to play 3 downs Sunday which will wear him down and make him less effective. Flyin' In DC
They are a very good Defense. If you only allow 15 points a game in the NFL that is saying something. I think if anyone can take on the Seattle defense it is Atlanta. I actually think thata we surprise the world with our running game. I think Turner goes in to "Bowling Ball Mode"(this phrase is copyrighted by the way)
FalconsAboveBoard
both, if that makes sensethey are a great defense; however, it is possible to hype up something too much. it's not like they are the 2000 ravens or anything . . . or even the best defense in the league this season. they are pretty good though
slamee101
Both. They're good but as is the standard these days the media has gone a tad overboard and is acting as if they're the 85 Bears or the Steel Curtain.
putnam6
You guys have no idea what your in for.I'm not even saying the Seahawks will win. But they are going to abuse your team physicaly regardless of the score. You will not play a rougher game.Aside from a rough first quarter the Seahawks dominated the Redskins.Abuse come on.... watched the Seahawks/ Skins Game again RGIII had receivers open he just couldn't get them the ball after he got hurt again. Washington OL did do a good job but minus Clemmons I think Ryan will have enough time to go through his progressions. Honestly the OL keeps Ryan upright I think it will be a looong day for the Seahawks, not to mention everybody acts like Atlanta has no defense. Falcons D isn't as slack as the Skins S is. I watched that game very closely. You didn't dominate JACK. You benefitted from RG3 being hurt. That's why you didn't lead til the 4th. RG3 was killing you guys until he ran out on the 8 yd option deal and came up limping. Then their offense absolutely stopped...
Optimus*Crimes
The Seahawks have faced, and shut down, several more dynamic offenses than the Falcons. Seattle's D is not going to be intimidated or frightened by the Falcons offense. They are big, fast and nasty. Seattle punches (figuratively) a team in the face and just keeps coming. It would be a big mistakefor a team to take these guys lightly, or believe they can be intimidated and bullied.I'm sure Seattle would rather be playing in Atlanta next week vs going into either Green Bay or San Fran. So, you played the NFC west, while we destroyed Eli, Peyton, Tony R, Brees, RG3 (we were much more effective than you), Rivers, etc... DarkFalcon
#1 scoring D in the NFL. Anyone who says they aren't legit are lying. I don't know how many yards they gave up a game and I don't care, being #1 in any important stat is tough to do.We're #5 though. So it could be low scoring! Seahawks got fat on #32 scoring offense twice, Number 23 twice even the NIners were 11th twice lost to the Dolphins #27 beat Minnesota #20 of course they played very well against the #1 offense and won once. **** even the Packers are 16th so sometimes the numbers get skewed. Not saying they aren't good or even better than the Falcons just saying they ain't 1985 Bears either.
Backtoreality
Everyone will see this Sunday. It will be no easy game for either team. Hawks match up great with the Falcons. Lynch will be in Beastmode, Wilson will be Wilson. May the best team win.

1989Fan
I am expecting between 24 and 34 points from the Falcons this weekend.Going off of my scattered memory, this seasonATL has been jus fine at rising to the occasion against big teams, it was playing down to inferior opponents that got them. This is a big stage, and a big team....so I expect a Falcons team ready to open it up. Optimus*Crimes
BradyRogersRomoRG3NewtonCutlerDid you win twice?Rodgers beat you.RG3 scored 14 on you in the first qtr. He accounted for 3 points against us.Cutler had you beat. 230 and 2 TDs. Marshall torched your D for 165. Brady threw for 395yd against you. So please, how good is that defense you speak of? Bradford made a game out of it. You guys have done enough to win, and I can respect that. But to act like you have this dominant team who is going to completely shut down RW and JJ, and shut down MR, you're sadly mistaken... mrobinson3803
As much as the talking heads give us grief about our schedule you would think they would have noticed that the Seahawks didn't face many elite offenses.

Top Cat
Rodgers beat you.Honestly. Watch the game again or at all. Rogers was the recipient of a major phantom PI call on their last drive. That call kept the drive alive and eventually led toGB to scoring a TD. For a total of 12 points by the way.As to Brady...could you please tell me the name of a team he hasn't torched? Honestly, your inability to give any credit to Seattle is laughable. It would be very easy to pick apart all of the Atrlanta games in a similar fashion.
