FalconFanSince1970
Check my above link.Jan 2nd Jacksonville asked permission to interview for a head coaching job and we, of course, granted permission. He was hired on Jan. 11th.In between there, we played an uninspiring playoff game with an abhorent offensive gameplan that will be laughed at for the next 25 years.I rest my case. But yall thought MM was a horrible OC so why should it have mattered?

xSICKxWITHxITx
But yall thought MM was a horrible OC so why should it have mattered? He was. Don't get me wrong his scheme wouldn't be horrible for a team like the niners. He can also be creative. My prob though was he was stubborn and not a good in game play caller. Guys like Sean Peyton, Mike McCarthy get a feel for the game and get a rhythm going. MM just wrote a first good drive and couldn't make adjustments. falconidae
Anybody thought that the interview was so short because Nolan nailed it completely and they walked away ready to hire him? I mean, why not? They don't want to waste his time now or let others know they want him that badly. I mean, if you're to worry about losing coaches, don't let the length of the interview stop you. Falcons_own_nfc_south
Although the Eagles interviewed Falcons DC Mike Nolan and Falcons ST coach Keith Armstrong this week, neither is expected to be a serious contender for Philly's head-coaching vacancy. The Eagles are interviewing Chip Kelly on Saturday and Mike McCoy on Sunday, and they appear much higher on owner Jeff Lurie and GM Howie Roseman's short list. The Armstrong interview satisfied the Rooney Rule. The Nolan interview may have been a matter of due diligence, though at this point we're a bit surprised he hasn't generated more interest on the head-coaching market.Related: FalconsSource: Philadelphia Inquirer
