Falcon Fantom
Watching our defense in BIG games gives me the willies!
Duluth Dirty Bird
I was at that game. The Dome was ELECTRIC. If it's anything like that in the Divisonal Round, which it will be, NOBODY can beat us on our own turf when we're at our best.

Falcon Fantom
I think the Robinson blitz is very effective, seen it work a couple times this year. Can any "SCHEME HEADS" pick out some of the formations we were in when RG3 scrambled in the video? Probably will be the same scheme they will use if we get the seahawks. Ergo Proxy
ATL Defense > ATL Offense (for now)That has definitely been true on the home games, aside from the Giants game; which was equally great on both sides of the ball.
JBourneMurkedU
From the master himself Am I the only one impressed with the way Nolan uses a dry erase marker? It's like magic.

JBourneMurkedU
Defense in Washingtonhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ILEBxXq8GagWatch RGIII that entire video and tell me when he goes past his 1st read? NEVER! He stares and stares and stares at his 1st read like no one's business. Been saying it all year. Watch this kid's eyes and he'll tell you where the ball is going every time. Rumors were true than Shanahan had to scrap his pro style offense and adapt to a style that would help RGIII progress slowly but surely. Kid wouldn't have been ready to play in this league if it wasn't for that. Edited January 4, 2013 by JBourneMurkedU
Ergo Proxy
Here's a thought: Nolan stays around just to figure out how to stop Cam Newton in a revenge match next year. Watch RGIII that entire video and tell me when he goes past his 1st read? NEVER! He stares and stares and stares at his 1st read like no one's business. Been saying it all year. Rumors were true than Shanahan had to scrap his pro style offense and adapt to a style that would help RGIII progress slowly but surely. Kid wouldn't have been ready to play in this league if it wasn't for that. When you have a defense like Atlanta doing so much, a team like the 'Skins with RGIII will teach him to have a couple of reads and how to make decisions early in the season in order to minimize any sort of risky throws across his body. They have him not throwing INTs...but in case they come to ATL. That may just change. Stop Morris consistently, and the offense unleash(it only had 7 points late in the 3rd quarter over there? Maybe a product of their rushing game but they weren't scoring much either, 1 TD from Morris).Prevent big plays vs. ANY of these triple-option QBs and stop the run, force into situations where they have to beat your disguised coverages and 'not' throw INTs on the road in a very loud environment IN the playoffs? Good luck. Edited January 4, 2013 by slimjim
Falcon Fantom
Cant wait till sunday. The Falcons have experience against running qbs and have held backs in check this season. I am sure Asante will have a pick 6 as well.
FalconFanSince1970
Got gashed on the PA at 3:30 mark, lucky for us the pass was incomplete. That video left off a lot of gashes. Especially by Morris. Left off the blown coverage bomb from Cousins to Moss for a TD too.
