Miller2Rison
i am also tired of these wild card teams coming in hot and whatever wild card team is the hottest comes into the playoffs now is the super bowl favorite.i want to see the best team in the nfc playing against the bes team in the afc, im ready for hfa and #1 seed to mean something again. i want this wild card bs put to rest now.that being said lets get some redemption from 1998 and pick manning off 6 times this time. hjerry
Careful, I've been hearing lately that believing we'll reach the Superbowl makes you a "homer". Edited January 3, 2013 by hjerry
Falcanuck
I wouldn't mind Ryan beating Flacco and making Ray Lewis' last NFL game a sour one...
aerosmith67
Careful, I've been hearing lately that believing we'll reach the Superbowl makes you a "homer".I really hate to burst those people's bubble but if you're a FAN of a team you're also a HOMER, the defintions are very similar. Homer: Someone who shows blind loyalty to a team or organization, typically ignoring any shortcomings or faults they have. Fan:A person marked or motivated by an extreme, unreasoning enthusiasm, as for a cause. They can claim there's a difference but calling someone of a "Falcons Homer" is as insulting as calling someone a "Falcons Fan". It's all very stupid.
Finally
Right. We have won so many SBs we need to spice things up to keep it interesting now.
falconsd56
I do not care who we play......... I just want to see us in the superbowl. But IF we play the broncos we need to make sure Eugene Robinson is hanging out on the Broncos sideline. falken
I'd like to see Brooking lose two Super Bowls from opposite sidelines to sandwich his career......and then I'd like to see Arthur Blank do the Dirty Bird, hold up the Lombardi and say, " This one is definitely NOT for John!" Da Bird is Da Word
there is a difference in pulling for a team and being blind to its flaws. And there's a difference between being a "realist" and being a pointlessly pessimistic buzz kill. hjerry
" This one is for Matt....the haters can suck it"Actually, if we win a Superbowl, I fully expect Matt to hand the Lombardi to Tony and say, "this one's for Tony" or something to that effect. With everything Matt's learned from him, I promise you there will be some big display of gratitude from Matt to Tony if we win.
Peyton
My wife is a hardcore Broncos fan, she grew up in Denver. I only want to go through that match up again if we are going to win it this time. It was not fun watching the game with her last time, even though she tried hard not to gloat.
FalconFanForLife
Well I will just be thrilled to reach the SB, and I will lose my mind if we win it no matter who we face. But yeah I see the OP's logic: #1 seed versus #1 seed.
