amefalcon
I Like Harry Douglas a lot. But he doesn't seem to explosive after the catch. What are you guys opinion on this?
falcon90
I was just thinking about that. It seems like there are games where he just isn't even playing.
ya_boi_j
Almost every time he catches the ball, he gets popped or its a designed play where he goes out of bounds. Probably would have scored on that deep ball had it not been under thrown.
bighurt
The Ace Sanders kid from South Carolina looks like the perfect slot receiver and he can return punts. HD doesn't seem to get himself open on some of the jerk routes and double moves. Check out Ace Sanders don't know if he is mixing out this year. ATL Fan in the DMV
Not the worst we could do, but he's highly disappointing for me.Not many plays are drawn up for him, but you hardly notice the guy during games. If Gonzo leaves after this year, we will need more out of our slot receiver to help replace Gonzo's production--and I'm just not sure HD is the guy to do that. amefalcon
I wonder if he is still kinda gun-shy and just trying not to hurt the knee again. Anyway we need him because whoever we play next is going to load up to stop Roddy and Julio, and he will have oppurtunities to make plays. falcon90
Ace is a great return man. I would like him.
the_sheff
The problem with our slot position isnt the WR, its the OL that isnt giving Ryan enough time to look at Roddy, Julio, Gonzo, and then Harry. He has been open plenty of times but there was no time for Ryan to see him. Edited January 1, 2013 by the_sheff

kiwifalcon
i think we are ok with HD at the slot I mean if you look at all our WRer's are multiple anyways we move all our WRers across the formation so I don't really see the point in going out and looking for another slot type guy. hudson
i personally have never been able to understand this guy, he has all the tools. I just think he is truly the 4th option and they dont get to him much. He is open almost everytime on those shallow crossing routes, and they still dont throw it to him. I really dont understand it. I think if this kid was playing in NE he would have 100 catches. They just dont throw that crossing route here. with that said maybe matt likes a bigger target? maybe they need to look at a option like a M. colston type of player, a BIG slot guy. Cause if harry isnt going to be targeted whats the point of keeping him? You could pay D. davis almost nothing to play that position
