FalconFanSince1970
An NFC South team won the division with less than a 4-2 division record. We went 3-3 in the division. All of our losses this year were against NFCS teams. One of the worst divisions in the league in 2012.NO, CAR and TB put up three good tapes for our first playoff opponent to review.Smitty, Nolan, Koetter better RTFU.Two weeks. GTJeff1975
Divisional games are always tough. Look around the league. Couple that with the fact that its not exactly easy to get up for a game that means nothing despite what the coaches said.

As you will see the NFC South finish tied for the second most wins as a division in the NFL this season with 34 and was just 1 win short of the NFC North. So you say the Falcons played in one of the weakest divisions in the NFL this season and I say you're wrong.NFC North = 35-29 (.547)NFC West = 34-29-1 (.540)NFC South = 34-30 (.531)AFC North = 33-31 (.516)NFC East = 31-33 (.484)AFC East = 31-33 (.484)AFC South = 31-33 (.484)AFC West = 26-38 (.406)

That 4&10 to Tony was perfect. Barron slapped it out. Protection was terrible.

Kaptain Krazy
Rams finished with the best division record in the West (4-1-1) but 3rd in the division. San Fran is the #2 seed in the NFC with only the 2nd best record in their own division. Weirdness happens. every NFCS team going 3-3 is an anomaly without any appreciable significance. I beg to differ. NO beat us. CAR, the guys pretty much admitted they were not motivated to kick their butts, same deal with CAR. We had the #1 seed locked. So, they saw us unmotivated. If I were the opposition, I would be looking at tape of the Giants game.
