Red Flag

GB is being fondled by the NFL as makeup for "Fail Mary" play. If your GB, and the NFL wants you to have a bye week due to injuries...well then we can review it even if you throw the flag on an automatic challenge.

It was funny when Nelson ran out there and tried to hide the flag from the officials :)

Heck you saw how reluctant they were to even call it in the first place. They were quick to make sure the 15 yards didn't hurt either.

Yeah, Carey applied the rule in a different way than how Atlanta and Detroit were penalized. As I understand it, if you throw the ball on a turnover or scoring play, you lose the right to challenge and take the result of the call on the field. There was either a turnover or score, it was ruled a fumble and the red flag was thrown. Green Bay should have lost the right to challenge and it should have been Minnesota's ball. When we heard all of this back in November, nowhere was there anything about if the play was already being reviewed, the review remains in place despite the flag. I think Carey got it wrong.
