Falcons Back Into The Playoffs....

The falcons didn't care about two of their last three games.

Could be worse they could've mailed it in like Houston has.

They have the opportunity to go from hfa to hosting a wild card team.

I watched none of the game thought scrubs would've been playing.

Tough break losing Abe.

How'd he get hurt?

Ankle rolled up, tatf would have you think bone was visible. As far as the game goes we ran more screens in the first half than we have the last half of the season. We didn't have backups in but it looked like a preseason game throughout. They were done with the regular season with a minute to go in Detroit. For better or worse is anyone's guess.

Which does concern me slightly.

But as long as they get up for the biggest game of the year in 2 weeks I will be ok.

kinda like the the saints in 09?

Look at it like this...we last time we lost... the very next game we played we shut out the defending superbowl champions.

...and the last time you had the #1 seed the eventual Super Bowl champ eliminated you...we know, we know

Just because we lost today it does not mean we "backed into" the playoffs

We were 4-2 over the last 6 games of the year. that is not backing in.

But before you even breath the words playoffs you better make sure Romo does not choke again vs the skins.

The reality of it is the loss today means nothing for Atlanta. The playoffs are a single eliminator tournament and how you got there means little at this point.

The Saints dropped their final 3 games, then won the Super Bowl.

that ws 2 years ago, I am talking about something that happened 3 weeks ago.

Big difference,

This falcons team is different than in 2010.

You just worry about even making the ******* playoffs before you start talking about what someone else does in the playoffs.

Where did you hear that?

Pretty much.

I would have liked a win but I am ok with the loss as we suffered no serious injuries. ( as of now atleast)

And we should be back to full strength come 2 weeks from now.

I just hope Nolan and DK have some things up their sleeves.
