Butudontseeme™
The points are impressive. They are a different team at home. They really thrive in their house. They are less then average on the road though. I pretty much feel the same way about SF, even more so now with so many injuries to their already slow offense. Seattle's cockiness makes it very easy to dislike them. The last memorable thing Seattle did was beat NOLA as the worst playofff team ever. What do you think about kaepernick? Personally, I'm leaning toward overrated right now.
Butudontseeme™
i agree, we are .500 coming off of byes.(including playoffs)Wonder what the league average is? Seems almost like the first round bye has been anything but an advantage for any team lately.

I think the dropping of Alex Smith was a pretty stupid move as well.I think the 9ers are seeing just exactly what it's like trying to win with either an inexperienced QB or a game manager. Kaepernick seems to have some football immaturity. I saw him pull the ball down and try to run a couple of times Sunday when there was nowhere to run. He relies a lot on his athleticism and arm strength to make plays even when they're not there.

He would be easier to force into a mistake than Smith right now which would hurt us considering their run game is pretty good.

If he had to play them I would WAYYY rather play against Smith. The 49ers went 6-2 with Alex Smith as a starter, he was owning the Rams defense before being injured something Kaepernick is unable to do. Since Kaepernick has been named the starter the 49ers are 4-2.During the Patriots game the 49ers had several drives start in Patriots territory and Kaepernick couldn't even get them into field goal range. birdz4i
Wonder what the league average is? Seems almost like the first round bye has been anything but an advantage for any team lately.i can t find too many stats but this is what i do see. of course it will depend on good vs bad teamshttp://www.thesports...y/nfl-bye-week/"Over the four most recent seasons (2007-2010), in games where only one team is coming off the bye, the team coming off the bye has a record of 65-54-1 straight up, and 61-44-5 against the spread."so looks like we are just below league average. He can't throw down field AT ALL, anything longer then 3rd and 5 they don't trust him to throw, and he has awful pocket presence. Only reason his completion % is so high is he refuses to ever throw the ball away, he takes the worst sacks I have ever seen.

k-train
MVP has turned into a QB award. Not really, it always has been.In the history of the award, it has gone to a QB 38 times. It has gone to a non-QB just 17 times.

Tribal Chief
M = MostV = ValuableP = PlayerNotB = BestP = PlayerI = InT = TheN = NationalF = FootballL = LeagueA = Awardsame dam thing. This is a complete waste of time. You're a certified Homer, that is clear to me now
Ryanless Falcons
AP is, or should be in the top 2. I'm a huge Florida State fan and I was very excited for Ponder to be drafted. It meant his inconsistency and horrible decision making is now someone else's problem. You take AP away and have Gerhart in the backfield the Vikings are battling for the number one pick in the upcoming draft(not too mention the past 2 drafts). AP has carried that team to the playoff picture and will carry them into the playoffs this week. He is by far in the top 2 if not the MVP. The award is the MVP not the MVSP(Most Valuable Stats Player).
youngbloodz
Well if TDs are all that matters Brees should be MVP. He has more TDs then Ryan. Has more yards. So I guess he deserves it over Ryan right
muskokas finest ©
Ok so he has a good supporting cast. Brady and Manning do too. plus broncos defense is top 5. SOOO YOUR POINT?The point? Brady and Manning have developed their supporting cast. Ryan had a great WR when he got here. That wasn't enough, so they got him a great TE and when that wasn't enough, blew 2 drafts on another great WR.

I'd say that Manning enhanced the talent around him, which is just the point I originally made.

If you want to say Manning made them better I can see that. But not Talent when it comes to Thomas
