k-train
then who is mvp?Manning, Brady, or Ryan
k-train
exactly if mvp meant best player in the league, megatron would be in the discussion. As I stated earlier, you need a substantial amount of wins to go along with the nice stats. Since 1983, only 3 players have won the MVP while playing on a team with fewer than 11 wins.
youngbloodz
What is laughable about AD winning the MVP? That is stupid. You act like he is JJ Watt or some other long shot to win. It's all an opinion anyway.

It's all an opinion anyway. If they don't make the playoffs, it is laughable. How can you be the MVP of the entire NFL, yet you weren't "important" enough to get your team in the playoffs?Peterson has 11 TDs. Their D & ST has only 3 less TDs. So, AP has a ton of yards... whoopty friggin' do!
k-train
It all depends on what Peterson does Sunday. If he can put up 207+ yards and breal Dickerson's record, while also scoring 3 or 4 TDs (cause 11 total TDs ain't cuttin' it), and propelling the Vikings into the playoffs... then he has a chance. But that's a lot of stars that need to align... and they are playing a very good Packers team who is fighting for the 2 seed.
Falconsfan567
But whos been doing all the work since ponder decided to go Full ****** on them??Remember you never go full ******.. Only 3/4Peterson.
birdz4i
Manning, Brady, or Ryantake manning out, he has a top 5 d so he is not doing it all on his own.
Falconsfan567
then who is mvp?Not Peterson. There are only 4 legit options for MVP.Aaron RodgersMatt RyanPeyton ManningTom BradyI vote Ryan. Homer or no homer. I'm not the only one that thinks Ryan should win MVP.
k-train
take manning out, he has a top 5 d so he is not doing it all on his own. Then Brady & Ryan
ProFalconFan
Using that logic, one could say the Falcons wouldn't come close to winning 13 games without Matt Ryan. Last time I checked 13>9.This logic would have came out better if you would have chosen a non-QB. Some one that doesn't touch the ball EVERY play. youngbloodz
Nah Ryan shouldn't be MVP. AD or Peyton. Those are the only two that will win it.
Falconsfan567
Nah Ryan shouldn't be MVP. AD or Peyton. Those are the only two that will win it.Why shouldn't Ryan win the MVP? There is an award called the Comeback Player of the Year award. That's the award that Peyton and AP should be up for.
birdz4i
Then Brady & Ryantake ryan out, he has a top 5 scoring d. guess that means it is brady, since his d is ranked in the middle of the pack in scoring and 27th in yards.

muskokas finest ©
Just to rehash the Pro Bowl selections. Julio and Gonzo made it, while Roddy probably should have been chosen. Sounds to me like Matt Ryan's supporting cast is most valuable.

Falcon Fred
I've always hated the MVP along with the Heisman.. It's a team sport, along with every year, I don't care who wins it, because it's pointless to me..
Knight of God
MVP isn't just numbers, its how your numbers were boss on the team.
Xyfiel
Percy Harvin is the MVP of the Vikings. He had more yards than AD did when he was healthy. When Percy went out their pass game evaporated and their W/L record was worse. AD has great rushing numbers, but that didn't equate to a better win %. It isn't like they went 5-4 just because of AD, they beat the Texans because of their D only giving up 6 points. He had 210 yards vs GB and they only scored 14 points. At best they went 4-4 due to his recent streak. That doesn't compare to what a elite QB does for a team. Manning, Brady, Rodgers, and Ryan are all worth more than 4 wins this year. Let it go. AD deserves it. He came off a serious injury and carried the team on his shoulders even AFTER Harvin's injuries.
DonDaLuvMaker
MVP has turned into a QB award.Watt should be one of the serious front runners if that was not the case because I doubt that the Texans defense would be anywhere near as good without him. Guest Dirty Bird Nation ®
Ap made Vikings relevant. Look how they did after he got injured last year. And look how they've don't this year when he's been fed the ball.
