THE ICEMAN
Its funny so many people have this man crush on AP and Peyton including the media. Kind of like Tebow Its like ok we know but there not as good as there made out to be.You want to see a stat line thats worthy of a MVP from a RB VLT rushed for 1815 yards and 28 TD's - Rec 56 catches 508 yards 3 TD's - Total yards from scrimage 2323 with 31 total TD'sorChris Johnson Rushed for 2006 yards and 14 TD's - Rec 50 catches 503 yards 2 TD's - Total yards from scrimage 2509 yards and 16 Total TD'sAnd yes that is the record for total yards from scrimage that Chris Johnson hasAP Rushed for (So Far) 1898 yards and 11 TD's -Rec 39 catches 215 yards 0 Td's - Total yards from scrimage 2113 yards and 11 Total TD'sThere you go there's no way he should win it if Chris Johnson couldn't. And the only one I would give the MVP to is LT 31 total TD's thats crazy numbers.

birdz4i
how so? you take AP away from the vikings, they win maybe 2 games? hence MVP.

THE ICEMAN
I say that the number's show that Harvin was more valuable than AP earlier in the year and no AP is not the best player in the NFL I'd have to give that to Brady or Rodgers
Tribal Chief
AP had only 1 game with over 100 yards rushing. Ponder was averaging around 250 yards a game.that doesn't matter right about now seeing that he had a great chance to break the single season record. k-train
cause with out him they don t come close to winning 9 games?Using that logic, one could say the Falcons wouldn't come close to winning 13 games without Matt Ryan. Last time I checked 13>9. Edited December 27, 2012 by k-train
Falconsfan567
In the Vikings first 6 games of the season they were 4-2.In those 6 games Ponder had 1,434 YDS on 210 attempts - 6.82 YPA - 8 TDsIn those 6 games Peterson had 499 YDS on 113 attempts - 4.41 YPA - 2 TDsYeah! Falconsfan567
and what has happened to him since? he is on 2700 yards 15 tds and 12 ints. And the Vikings have only gone 5-4 in their last 9 games with a chance for it to be 5-5. How valuable are you if you couldn't lead your team to the playoffs?no its not completely different. It showcases whop the best player is tthroughout the league. People actually thought cam was the best rookie in the league last year yet they only won what, 6 games. That wasn't deserving. As of right now the Vikings are in the playoffs. Who knows what will happen on Sunday. Maybe they win, maybe they lose. Either way it goes, AP has the numbers that throw him up their with the elite offensive players in the league and is the Vikings best player so I see no reason why he shouldn't win it.
