Dogsandfalcons4lve
I honestly think Denver is over rated so they've won 10 straight that is a great accomplishment...however all of the good/playoff teams they played they lost to. I'm not sure if I believe Denver all the way yet, they are a great team but I honestly see another team knocking them out. At this point I think either Ravens or Pats...really don't care as long as we get to the superbowl

Great QB, solid D, and 10 straight wins is nothing to *hic* at.As of late, Pats have shown they can be whooped, as have the Ravens and Texans. Bronco's, IMO, are the hottest team in the AFC. falcndave
I normally don't make predictions on any kind of grand scale and yes, I've had a bit of Christmas Cheer *hic* tonight, but I feel it y'all. I feel it,...Atlanta and Denver doing the two-step at the Big Dance, a rematch, and a classic showdown of the wily old vet, Peyton Manning, dueling it out with a younger gun also destined for the HOF, Matty Ice Ryan. I'm predicting the most exciting SB ever with the first overtime,...and the Falcons winning in a classic thriller never to be forgotten. I'm predicting that Bourbon Street will close down after the game rather than serve any celebratory Falcons fans and that Eugene Robinson will be arrested yet again, but this time no one will care. I'm predicting a parade down Peachtree Street a couple of days later that we'll ALL be at, and thousands of Saints fans overloading telephone help lines of every kind.Bookmark it and bank on it. Sound *hic* good? You may be right, but I don't think Denver has the legs to make it. I think their record has been greatly enhanced by the level of competition in the AFC West. I know everyone says that about us, but I think it is true about them. That is why they play the game. Maybe they can get past NE/Hou. I don't see it...but anything can happen. alwaysfallforward
Oh man I hope not....hearing about manning all offseason would be ****..I would rather us go one and done than see them win the Super Bowl....I'm an old style fan, and can't stand the new age pocket qb stigma....a team signing manning and winning it would be the worstI hope we get Houston, or Baltimore....Indy or cincy....and given a choice between den and me I'd take me...Brady is just as much of a new age glamour boy type qb as manning is, but atleast they started running the football better and aren't a complete new age team anymore

At this point I think either Ravens or Pats...really don't care as long as we get to the superbowlNot the ravens after how they played them but hou or ne definitely...a major reason for Denver's streak is their schedule...they got soundly beat by the big boys....their schedule took a big drop from last year, especially their division which was never good, but had a bunch of 500 teams last year and now has 3 of the leagues bottom the teams...however den has an advantage because their easy schedule could get them a bye over better teamsHistory is actually against teams with long winning streaks coming in, probably because you can only be hot for so long....with the exception of the 16 0 pats I don't think a team with an 8 or larger win streak coming in has won a po game in recent years
falken
Denver, Pats, Bengals. Texans, Ravens or Colts?,Denver and Pats are biggest threats. Either could beat Texans on the road. Pats could wind up with homefield. Never count out Belichek and Brady.I'm going Falcons/Pats. 34-19 Birds. If I get a ticket...I'm driving in day of the game, watching the birds win the Super Bowl, driving two hours out of town and getting a hotel room.I wouldn't risk eating dinner in a restaurant with a Falcons jersey on........and Goodell better not set foot in cajun territory. Abe
I want to play Tom Brady. I want to beat our fourth Hall of Fame quarterback this year in the Super Bowl.
B_Lo_Touchdowns
This was my pick also and Im still riding with it. I think we get rid of all our demons and win the superbowl this season.Beat the Cardinals [check]Beat the Giants [check]Beat the Packers Beat the Broncos Throw the 49ers in there on top of winning in New Orleans this will be the greatest season ever as a Falcon fan. DD: Objective Elite
What IS an elite team anymore, BTW?Well Supes, you root for one.
octoslash
Anybody who thinks Denver's not a serious threat has not been paying attention. Denver is a complete team, with a very good defense and a HOF QB, on a hot streak; forget who they've beaten...they've done it 10 times in a row and are at their peak right at playoff time. You better believe they can win it all.

Tandy
Let's go further. The Vikings come to the dome for the Divisional game - and we beat them - by a Field Goal to go to the NFCC, where we host the 49ers and beat them by 2 points to go to the Super Bowl. Then, Smitty locks every player down and doesn't let them out of the hotel except to attend practice, meetings and interviews.Which totally changes history and we beat the Broncos 34-19 in the Super Bowl. MikeR
Let's go further. Lolol, that would be great.
Faithful Falcon
Thats if the Broncos can actually beat an elite team Texans or Pats the only win they have that is impressive is over the Ravens and they had a 1st time OC Throw in Ray Lewis and I'd like to see if they'd beat the Ravens againPittsburgh, New Orleans, Baltimore, and the Houston game was really decided on a bad call. 4dabirds
I would love to see it. The first play would have William Moore knifing thru the center of the Denver OL, stripping Peyton of the ball, knocking him down in the process, scooping the ball and getting an easy TD. From there out it's one methodical drive after another.
4dabirds
An exact repeat of 1998? Lolol, that would be great.I get a feeling that we will get the Skins in the divisional game and GB in the NFCCG. Winning both of course.
FalconinPA
Would be glad to see that super bowl re-match. This time with the Falcons putting a beat down on them. We avenged the Giants from last year, I would love to get a chance to crush Dallas and Green Bay on the road to crushing Denver. Dallas for that 80 playoff loss and Geen Bay for that massacre a few short years ago.
FalconinPA
I really wouldn't like to have to hear all the media's sucking of Peyton Manning leading up to the game. Can you imagine?
Mr.11
An exact repeat of 1998? Lolol, that would be great. Not exactly. We would have to face San Francisco in the Divisional Round, then Minnesota in the NFC Championship, and then Denver in the Super Bowl. atlbaby
If the Texans lose to the Colts Sunday and they end up being the the number 3 seed, they will lose to the Patriots in New England. The weather will be a factor
