daybumper
The Packers have already given us an answer by having both their starting tackles go down. Newhouse has struggled mightily at LT and Don Barclay has at RT.do we have a pass rush ? lol remember the 2010 playoff game and how many times Rodgers escaped sacks
twright21
do we have a pass rush ? lol remember the 2010 playoff game and how many times Rodgers escaped sacksThat statement tells me the rush was there. The finishing wasn't. Put himonmthe ground a few times and that game is quite different. That fact and the bad int before the half was what turned that game into what it was.But again, not the same teams. Certainly not the same defensive scheme. Zodiac
do we have a pass rush ? lol remember the 2010 playoff game and how many times Rodgers escaped sacksYea when they had an All-Pro at LT by the name of Chad Clifton, still had their C Scott Wells who is now with the Rams and Bryan Bulaga at RT who's now on IR.John Abraham matched up against Don Barclay? I'm sure we can get a few sacks.

vel
Lol swift you are hilarious! I guess 2010 Rodgers is just some switch Rodgers has to flip to turn into that guy, incapable of being stopped by even the most diligent of teams. To say Nolan can't scheme to beat Rodgers is priceless, seeing as Rodgers been beaten 4 times already, held to 0 TDs twice this season, most recently the lowly Lions that Matt Ryan just picked apart... Sir Joe™
Nolan will have no answer for Rodgers...we just have to hope unlike 2010 Ryan keeps us in the game better and doesnt cost us like he did with 2 ints in 2nd quarter and one returned to the house..Nolan has stumped Peyton, Brees as well as not giving up a passing TD to the likes of Eli and Stafford as well as Brees. The 2010 playoff game would hold as much bearing as the fact that Ryan is 2-0 against Rodgers in the regular season.New season, different team. vel
do we have a pass rush ? lol remember the 2010 playoff game and how many times Rodgers escaped sacks Is it stil 2010? Seriously, your lovefest with ARod and the Packers is sickening almost. Rodgers had a great game and we got trashed, but to base the future off that game is just as lazy as the media. We got 4 sacks on Rodgers in 2011. Remember that? Had them beat 14-0 in the second quarter and then reverted back to ole Mularkey ball and got toasted. Shows we clearly aren't the 2010 Falcons just the most rematch we had with the Packers. Nolan is a lot better than BVG. Period. Matt Ryan is better than 2010 Ryan. See you haven't bust out the noodle arm jokes lately. He's more accurate deep, will take shots, is more aggressive and in command. We've beaten every team that pissed us off in the playoffs or other big games. The Packers can be next on the list for all I care. If they can get passed the Niners... MilleniumFalcon
Nolan has proven to shut down elite QB's, he will have an answer for Rodgers, our guys just need to be able to get him down. If BVG was in charge of the defense, I would be worried however.
daybumper
On cuumulative stats isn't using totals against 16 game vs a 15 game season disingenuous? For example, sacks ...yeah but it also shows that we have already allowed more rushing yards and passing yards as well..ints and sacks are close..We will need 2 sacks and 3 ints to equal our 2010 defensive totalsthat 2010 defensive unit was destroyed by Aaron Rodgers in playoffs.. which was the point .. In 2010, we didn't have Nolan, Asante, McClain, experienced Spoon, and DeCoud and Moore playing lights out. Keep looking at the stats, I already pointed to the 2011 Packers game as obvious improvement from the 2010 Playoffs game but that doesn't help your argument so you ignore it, classic. We've shut down every single elite QB that has come to the 404. Period. Aaron Rodgers can be next if that's what you want.
Trufant Island
Rodgers is out on a mission ...Last year playoff loss hit him hard...You will see 2010 Rodgers in playoffs...Im hoping we see 2012 regular season Ryan in playoffs..Falcons vs Packers would be a great NFC CHAMP game and it would set up for our revenge ..I just dont think we can stop RodgersAnd we arent on a misson? Plus, what reason do we have to be afraid of anyone? GB cant run the ball and our Pass D is one of the best in the NFL. I dont believe their D can stop us. Im not scared of GB at all. I really dont see any team that Im scared of, to be honest. Of course there are good teams, but we are a good team too.
