Jim Brown used to do this. He said he would always get up slow so that when they actually did do some damage to him and got up slow nobody would know. It stresses the **** out of me though but I think we will get used to it.

Hard for me to think JJ is doing that but it sure does sound nice.

Anyone else notice he looks uninterested before the snap, or when Ryan audibles, Is almost like he's thinking "alright I guess we'll do that play". But as soon as the ball is hiked, he is full speed,

Anybody see the great acting job he did on the fake go route, the stopped dead in his tracks and caught the ball from Ryan, DB almost came out of his shoes

I think he gets up slow because some of the shots he's taking hurt like hail. He tries to extend the play and takes some shots. He might need to take a page from Warrick Dunn's book. Dunn said he extended his career by going down on first contact.

Spend 5 picks on a WR that goes down on first contact?
