egoprime II
Watching Snelling against the Giants got me thinking... why not use Snelling early in games, then bring Turner in at the beginning of the second half or later, after the D has gotten a bit worn out chasing Atlanta's receivers?Snelling is quicker to hit the hole than Turner. Plus Snelling has some nice pass plays to his credit in the past. And Jason has had a lot of success with those inside shovel passes, those are like play action pass plays.A fresh Turner comes in later in the game when we have a lead (or are not far behind) and runs over folks. When Turner is in there, the opposing D is almost certain a run play is coming. With Snelling, there is no telling... Edited December 22, 2012 by egoprime II
Dr_truth189
At this point, I'd have to assume they won't make the move so they don't start drama in the locker room.
Tuggle'2
As long as we win they can do what ever they want. I wouldn't mind seeing more of what we saw in the Giants game though. Just use all 4 backs indiscriminately.
Atlfanstckndenver
^^What he said!!! Seriously though im still impressed by what Koetter has brought to this team. In seasons past defenses could easily defend us, and tee off on our quarterback due to our limited game plans. We went from teams attacking the he77 out of our o line and still refusing to run screens, to running fake screens that totally keep the defense guessing. Its not all about the screens either. As a whole Mularky only used so many areas of the field. Defenses knew that. Koetter has defenses on their heels for entire games at a time. With our WRs teams have to respect the bubble screen. As soon as they cheat up to cover it Koetter makes them pay. Thats just one example among many. Boy im impressed. Just watched the game again by the way. Atlfanstckndenver
After watching the game again im still a little bit concerned about Roddy's knee. I know its not too serious, but i really want him at 100% for the playoffs.

Harry got open on the first long pass down the left side on the Giants because his man bit on the receiver screen to Julio.
twright21
And every time we run plays like that it makes teams have to play the screen honest. Great combination of plays to run off of the one idea.
cooperbh
Snelling is quicker to hit the hole than Turner. There is nothing quick about Snelling. He can break a tackle every once in a while, though.
