Mega Flare
Niners leapfrog us after letting Pats back into game. BIG SURPRISE!http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000113382/article/nfl-power-rankings-week-16-49ers-take-top-spot-from-patriots

ChickenBiscuit
Just be happy we're #2 instead of ESPN's #5, Jesus Christ, who cares it's a power ranking not a BCS ranking.
IA Falcon07
I wish we were #5 in both polls. You know the players still feel disrespected and any extra motivation the media idiots can give this team the better. When Asante plays it seems like we take it to heart more too. chifalc
So apparently the patriots win made their st louis loss vanish, but the giants blowout didn't get rid of the carolina loss for us …
4dabirds
I do like the statement about Julio. Imagine if Julio does start going off. Not that he hasn't played well, we just haven't tapped in to his full potential in my opinion. And if HD starts to become a good target then yes, the Falcons could be the most scariest team in the playoffs. These are things we've all said before, now I'm ready to see the real show. hammerhead
I wish that the falcons would give HD a major roll at the slot he would give defensive coaches a fit trying to match personal to stop him JJ , Roddy , Tony , JR . We are blessed with talent on this team they just need to be put in the right plays to execute .

DonDaLuvMaker
Just be happy we're #2 instead of ESPN's #5, Jesus Christ, who cares it's a power ranking not a BCS ranking.ESPN has the Broncos at #2 ahead of the Pats, Texans, and Falcons which are the only teams that have beaten them and both Falcons and Texans have better records. high impact
How often are the ESPN Power Rankings correct? So many vote only for teams they want to be the best. It will make it even more sweet when the FALCONS show everyone who should be at the top.
north falcon
I guess having the best record doesnt mean much anymore...No, it doesn't. We're not the best team.Edit - Neither are the 49ers. Pats are still #1 with the Broncos at a VERY close #2.
Thiccolas Cage
ESPN can't even get their projected points right without conflicting with player analysis on FF from week-to-week. I can't trust anything ESPN comes up with and the only reason that I will be watching that channel on Saturday is due to the game.
falconstwopercentsized
WERE NOT GETTING A BSC BOWL THIS YEAR?
RVJATL
49ers tie and lose to the Rams this season, but beat the Pats. They're #1. Falcons shutout and destroy the reigning SB champs, but lose to the underachieving Panthers. We're ranked #5.Okay, ESPN.
Brewcrew
Doesn't matter what they're "ranked", they're still going to have to come to the dome for the NFCCG.
dirtybird2k5
Most scariest FTW!!!!
eric.matt
they are called power rankings for a reason, it's not about facts, rather opinion. I feel like it is best not to get caught up in the power rankings because all that matters is whos left at number one when february rolls around
babybanks80
I for one think this is a great thing, If you ever notice, the week they disrespect the Falcons and downplay the previous win, the Falcons win the following week. They gave the Falcons props before the Saints and Panthers game......coincidence? I think not.......So by all means, rank the Falcons 10th if you want. Francis York Morgan
Evans gave us props. This is the first truly great team we've beaten in extremely convincing fashion, so I don't disagree with them on other counts. Just need that **** postseason win and there won't be anything left to bash.

Pats are still #1 with the Broncos at a VERY close #2.I've asked you before, but i never got your answer, please explain to me your logic, how you think the Broncos are better than a team that has a better record than them & that they lost to head-to head?
