mrobinson3803
Not hearing much about Matt Ryan for MVP. He isn't as hot as he was in the beginning of the season but we are the best team in the league and he is in the top 5 for almost all passing stats. He has more yards than Manning. Brady statistically has looked like the better QB, but his team has not won as many games. And to see the way Ryan has manufactured comebacks to lead us to this great record I think he deserves MVP. TheFalconRises
Could care less to be honest. He doesn't care he's concentrating on the playoffs, I'd like it to stay like that. I'm sure he'd much rather be the SB MVP
north falcon
No. There are a few better players than him this year.
The Mattural
I love Matty Ice and I think he should be in consideration for it but AP has been an absolute monster and deserves it over everyone. Every team comes into the game knowing he's the only threat so they stack the box and he blows by them for 200+.
ol'_dirty2
Gotta be back in business since we dismantled the G-men and they were supposed to be too much for our offense to handle.
Falcons_own_nfc_south
Nah, That train left 4-5 weeks ago... He can't make up so much ground in the last 2 weeks... But he still can be a SB MVP...
vabchbirdlover
Was in the running after the first few games, Yesterday's game aside, he has slipped in any meaniful contention.
DirtyBirdsDirtyWords
I believe it's a two horse race between AP and Peyton but I agree he should get consideration
MilleniumFalcon
He fell off after a combo of his 3 INT & 5 INT games and lack of TD's. It's probably going to AP this year with Peyton coming in a close second.

NOVAFalconFan
Peterson for MVP, shouldn't even be close.Russel Wilson for RotY.
falcons007
Adrain Peterson for MVP. Most of the players don't play for a year after the injury and it takes about couple of years to come back to full speed. Looks like AP is better than ever, he is a freak. J-Wall
As much as I love Ryan he lost his chance at the mvp award. He had about a month of below average "mvp type games". Ryan isn't media favorite so it won't happen. Heck he is 4th in probowl voting in the Nfc which I believe is a joke. But its a popularity vote and prisoner of the moment stuff. Imho I think Ryan as an overall QB is top 5. Take away other guys playoffs and sb's and just as a pure QB that's where he is. This year reminds me of when Steve Young finally got that "monkey" off his back
mrobinson3803
I agree on AP he is closing in and should have about 98% chance of breaking that single season rushing record. Coming off that knee injury he could possibly be the MVP and Comeback Player of the Year and deserves it. I just think if they have Peyton in the running Matt Ryan should be too
Dr Long Shot
I love Matt Ryan, he deserves strong consideration. But yeah... this guy called AP, I've never seen anyone play the running back position better in my entire life.
Danishfalcon
It's not gonna happen. This year is about winning the ultimate team award, the Superbowl.

Even the doctors were surprised how soon AP came back. Edited December 17, 2012 by falcons007

1989Fan
Media makes it sound like this is pretty mch a 2 man race right now between Manning and Peterson, and really, I cannot blame them.Ryan put his big numbers up too early. I would give it to Manning personally with ho9w that team is playing now, but hard to ignore AP when he may break an all tim record, and he could outrush his QBs passing yards probably too, lol. jeffro2000
I thought AP was starting to decline already, and then with the injury late last year, I thought this year would be a wasted season. He has been dominant with no QB play to speak of. He should be MVP regardless, but if he breaks Dickerson's record then it's a no brainer. AP should be the front runner just because he has been dominant without any help but I have a feeling that they will give it to Peyton regardless. thanat0s
Not sure if anyone else related this sentiment, but honestly, the only MVP I'm interested in Matt getting is this year's Super Bowl MVP trophy.
Guest Negatorris
That 5 INT game destroyed his chances. It took his rating down at least 10 points I think. If not for that game, he'd still be over 100 and in the conversation. I say that because of the few bad games Aaron Rodgers had, but his overall passer rating never dropped much only because he wasn't tossing interceptions like crazy. It's all cool though.Ryan will be the Superbowl MVP.
