CrimsonKat
Crimson, we all know Alabama won so whatever you are trying to accomplish by beating your chest and hollering like Tarzan is beyond my grasp. I'm just a product of Georgia schools but geeeeez....I think you would agree that it is not in my general nature to respond in such a manner on these boards. Two things I don't like though: 1) A Georgia fan hoping a 20 year old kid suffers a career ending injury; and 2) A Georgia fan trying to escalate some good-natured college football trash talk by taking personal shots at the state where my family lives and the academic institution from which I earned my degree. Those kind of comments will get responses in kind.
CrimsonKat
I think all the cool guys trash talk on a message board. What has your feathers rustled here crimson? You are usually pretty logical on here but this borderline jerk off nature.Good luck in the ncg. I think Notre dame will give you guys a good 2 quarters and then sec depth will kick in.Everyone just breath. It's football. For perspective think about the families in ct right now. Prayers out to them.See my post above.

South FL Dawg
I think you would agree that it is not in my general nature to respond in such a manner on these boards. Those kind of comments will get responses in kind.Well I can top that because I don't like A TON of things that people say, but when my team beat theirs, there is nothing else they can do but talk. If they say they wish a kid gets hurt....meh, most people don't mean it - you know that. As for school insults most of us are going to be pulling for Alabama in the BCSCG anyway....isn't that more telling? Look I'm not picking on you but it's easier to be magnanimous when you win. If my team won nothing would take the smile off my face. I'm a gal so IDK if it's a guy thing to not back down from strangers online. If so then it's just another chapter in my "I don't understand men" files...sigh.
Mr. Hoopah!
Dragging your *** around on College Forum's carpet seems to be really productive at chasing off Dawg homers and attracting fans of various other programs back to the forum. Kudos!Crimson definitely levels the playing field for me here.
itsjustafleshwound
Georgia fans complain about the refs after every ... single ... loss. There was a thread a few weeks back discussing how an early penalty set the tone and led to the loss at South Carolina. To hear Georgia fans tell it, the Dawgs have never lost a game fair and square in the history of college football.I sat next to a Texan whose daughter went to Bama. His response to the late hit on Ogletree was that the ref wasn't going to throw the flag until Mcarron started crying like a little girl. When Murray got hit, his response was that he didn't cry enough to get the flag. To be straightforward, to suspend the Bama player would have been asinine and would have hurt the SEC, but to let the ref off when he was right THERE is equally insane. And for the record, I've heard just as many Bama fans chalking up UGA being in the game to bad officiating so your critique of UGA fans runs hollow knowing that Bama fans are just as delusional if not more. Despite my belief that said referee was blatantly wrong or corrupt and should have been disciplined, you can never blame the refs for losing a game when you give up 350 rushing yards. itsjustafleshwound
Fair points. It's college football. Until the major bowls and the next season, complaining is one of the chosen ways to overcome a significant loss or even more commonly, boredom.
