Sure Quizz uses his shiftiness to make up for that issue, but I've also seen him get smashed in the backfield too. Turner was never a guy that made you miss, but he was, and still is better than most RB's in the league. If we don't fix the line... we'll never become consistant. Give the league time, and they'll figure out Quizz too.

Dharma Initiative
You are all morons. Michael Turner, in 194 touches, has broken 11 more tackles than Arian Foster has in his 313 touches. It isn't Foster, it's the OL. The Texans have a top 5 OL - top 2 in the run game behind only San Fransisco. It's because no one touches Foster, he zig zags around them. Can't break tackles if the guys can't get to you

Trust me, I love PFF... but you're using it (or wherever you got that) wrong. I'm pretty sure running BY people, using vision, catching the ball, etc., play into the fact that Foster is miles ahead of Turner. I really cannot believe you're trying to argue otherwise. He just is not longer a fit for this offense. He needs a fullback and needs a physical line that can get him day light. We should trade him to jacksonville and try to acquire Laveon Bell. Kayoh
It's because no one touches Foster, he zig zags around them. Can't break tackles if the guys can't get to youFoster isn't zig zagging anyone. He isn't breaking any ankles. He's finding the biggest hole and hitting it with great speed. I'll give you that; Foster is fast. That doesn't make you a top RB though. The Texans' entire OL better make the AFC Pro Bowl this season, they're the real stars on that offense. Not Foster. Certainly not Schaub. Andre and the OL. That's it. Snelling averages 2 because he sucks. and our problem is at center and rg. mainly center

I do agree/understand that their OL is very good, much better than ours. I just don't like how you opened it, making it seem to indicate Turner is better than Foster. Mr. Right
Lol, people still complaining about our o-line. When are you going to realize? It's not the gonna happen! We are the Falcons.
cwell1
Still 4.1 YPC is not that good, especially in a RBBC.5.7 ypc since the bye week. pretty **** good. Michael Turner in that same span 2.7 ypc smh note that this is the time when Konz took over for Reynolds. and we do not run a RBBC. only 2 guys get carries with Turner getting the vast majority up until the past few weeks
Osiruz
I Think the problem is mike smith overrating his O-Line. A big reason for their success is because the majority of our offense was based on 3 step drops and we had one of the best FB's in a long time in Ovie Mugheli. We need some big fat maulers in there. Dr Long Shot
Yeah the guys slamming Arian I wouldn't want him on our team either! I mean he ONLY runs well because of his O-line...moronsHis YPC his not even significantly better than Turner's. You give Turner holes and he produces. This is true for all good backs in the NFL. cwell1
Yeah but its not like he decided to show up after the bye week, he's been alright to be honest nothing dominant.lol you're back peddaling like im attacking u or something lol. first u say all our backs average the same crappy ypc which isnt true. 4 yards per carry is good on any level of football because every 3rd carry equals a 1st down. I show u that Rodgers ypc has been very very good since our weak undersized rg was replaced by an ok strength rookie center playing rg, while our other back has been significantly worst in that same span. Now its but but but he wasn't dominant lol nobody said anything about being dominant. I'm talking about consistent production from an area we are weak at
