Falcons Playoff Seeding

Sometimes I wonder if playing on wildcard weekend wouldn't be better for this particular team. Don't really know how a week off is going to affect us coming into a game against a team that would be coming off a win. I know obviously you want the home field advantage, especially being a passing team who doesn't want to see weather throughout the postseason, but any time this team starts to get complacent, bad things happen. I feel like if we could get a game against a wildcard and handle our business it would get that monkey off our back and then we could just play football. I worry that a first round bye could cause this team to get uptight ala GB a few years back. Of course playing opening weekend hasn't been kind to this group either.

Well we saw how extra time to prepare for an inferior team did for this team. God forbid we get 2 weeks to prepare for a playoff team. I mean having the extra week is what we all want so we can be as healthy as possible, and we're also great at home, but the playoffs is a completely different animal. I think I'm more eager for the playoffs to start to see how this particular team plays when faced with a win or go home scenario. Maybe we need to play like we have nothing to lose
