We Have Been Holding Back On Our Play

Recommended Posts

We had those in our playbook...?

Teams in the NFL run screens every game and have plenty left come playoff time.

Are we just not good enough to handle adding some as the season goes on?

And never used them? Thus holding back lmfao.

You may think the one to Julio has been run often, but you'd be wrong. Quizz ran a decoy screen on the opposite side of the field that drew Kuechly and many others.

The one to Snelling was a fake pitch to Quizz (a pitch that was run from that exact spot for a TD).

Both plays have now been used and the cat's out of the bag.

I guess we can't run different screens for the rest of the year then

We just aren't competent enough I suppose

If that's true then it's no wonder we lose first round of the playoffs. We need to be able to execute those plays and get game speed reps. You don't get that in weekly practices where there is no contact. There's no chemistry and it shows in our poor offensive showings.

Go out, run the best offense you can get. If you're a Super Bowl team you shouldn't have to surprise teams, you should be better than them, period. nd right now, the Falcons are NOT the best team in the NFL.
