TorontoFalcons
I would have really liked Asante to sit today. I'm sure many of us have the same thought process
Guest Negatorris
Hopefully this gets out of hand early so we can sit the starters. I don't know how Asante is going to play today.
bossFALCON™
Was hoping for the opposite. Thanks swift
Aftermath
yeah, Asante needs to sit.

leftfield
Falcons Inactives:4 QB D.Davis,17 WR T.Toone,25 S W. Moore,68 OT P.Manley,69 G H.Gunn,90 DE L.Sidbury,92 DT T. Robertson
FinalScore2.0
Maybe Owens will get most of the snaps and Asante will be the emergency backup.
Guest Gritz
Unless Ernest Angley touched Asante's arm this week I don't get why he's active. This is beyond stupid.
FinalScore2.0
Sidbury has dropped to the bottom of the food chain. Makes you wonder if he'll be a falcon next season.
Falconwhit
Jerry is active. Love to see him ready for the Playoffs.
DrunkOffFalcohol
Well we don't know how the players are feeling. My guess is Asante's shoulder is fine. Bruised muscles and bones heal fast for a lot of athletes. The Ham String is a WAY bigger concern because it is a ligament; if he plays with a sore hamstring it could snap like an oiled rubberban. Plus I want to see what chris hope can do.
DrunkOffFalcohol
Guess Willie Mo wasn't ready this week..Haha I see what you did there...
DrunkOffFalcohol
Some people clearly don't know how injuries work. Because if you did you would have known that asante would be back for the next game when he went out against the Saints. It's a dam bruised shoulder (muscle/bone) for crying out loud. DonDaLuvMaker
I was hoping to see Robertson play more today. He has already had more impact than Jerry this season.
4dabirds
If Asante is listed as active, then it just tells me that his injury is not as bad as it appeared. Chris Owens, would be fine to go in his spot for this game. Smith's not a dummy, he knows who is significantly hurt and who needs to sit. I believe Moore's hamstring injury does require more rest. bossFALCON™
Unless Ernest Angley touched Asante's arm this week I don't get why he's active. This is beyond stupid. We've had non contact practices all week, so nobody really even knows how he'll hold up in contact. They need to punch him in the arm pregame to see if he's good to go lolOn a serious note I hope they just sit him until the playoffs if he reinjures himself. FinalScore2.0
Asante said he was ready to go last game and lasted only 3 plays. That's why playing him looks like a question mark.

Butudontseeme™
I hope Asante is only active as an emergency cb. He doesn't need to play until that shoulder is 100%
fan72
lol @ all the folks who think they know better than the professional Doctors and Athletes if Asante plays in this meaningless game it is because he is good to go.
