ryanATL1988
per jason la canfora ray edwards worked out for the 49ers yesterday! LOLThe 49ers must have been thinking what better way to compliment aldon smith than who.

Guest Fibonacci/Mashburn
Man I hope he goes to them. Lol at people who think he could give info on the falcons........cause we don't even know who we are. Only thing we know is how to win and use your weaknesses against you
Sandy5prings
If other teams have to pick up our scrub ex-players for 'insider info' then we have ARRIVED! That is a mark of respect.
DixieTwister
Wouldn't the niners hiring Edwards for inside info be about as bright as a bank robber putting his hold up note on the back of his deposit slip since Edwards apparently slept through camp and most games? hammerhead
Kinda makes you wonder are the Niners in desperate mode. The coach has placed a lot of drama on that team and its showing on game day.
Falconjerome
i think this may be more of a back up roll than anything...with the front D line, i see no way he is starting......also, with what they have now, a turd can put on a helmet, line up next to them and look good.... Thiccolas Cage
All joking aside, the Niners can really exploit the Falcons if Ray gives up info. I think that it is a good strategy for the Niners. They are ensuring playoff success.
hammerhead
I don't think the Niners can exploit the falcons because the falcons don't play the vanilla type game week after week, our coaches change it up so much it's just so hard for teams to game plan us . aerosmith67
49ers Coaches: Ray what did the Falcons do on 2nd Down in a Passing Situation?Ray: Well see we clapped twice and then took off our clothes...49ers: You what?Ray: You were asking what I did right? Wait, where am I? This doesn't look like Models R Dumb...
falcons007
Edwards was almost like a cast off in the locker room. I doubt if he would be job less with out much playing time if he had learnt the Mike Nolan System. I would bet he wouldn't give up any more information than what Curtis Lofton gave the Saints. j.lane lineman
if they do sign him, and for some strange reason he gets into the game,--at least matt want have to worry about getting sacked from his side of the field
DownvoteDon
If Edwards signs with SF people here will be kicking themselvesWhy??? What were we supposed to do with him? He was a cancer in the locker room. You can't keep a guy around who is being insubordinate. Maybe we could have suspended him? But why create distractions with the Players' Union?Sometimes, you just have to rip the scab off.

Bill Brasky
If Edwards signs with SF people here will be kicking themselvesI'll be mad, because it seemed like his major flaw was motivation. Getting cut and given the opportunity to play against the team that cut you is pretty big motivation to play well. This will probably happen: he'll succeed in limited action in San Fran, everyone will say it was a scheme issue in Atlanta, he'll get a new contract from some team next year, and he'll promptly quit on them at that point too. Capitalist
I watched him during games and he frequently sat by himself, warmed up by himself and walked off the field by himself....He was clearly not committed...

If he produces in SF (especially against us in the playoffs)this place is gonna be a sh*t storm
