truefalcon
Anyone feel the same? This appears to be a more relaxed, fresher, and ambitious team since Edwards was shown the door. Any similar/opposing views?

Any similar/opposing views?Don't know about "new team" but having Biermann on the field in place of Ray Ray has been paying dividends. Dem Birds
The defense has been lights out since Edwards departed. The offense, not so much, but Edwards would have nothing to do with that anyway.
BirdWeisErrr_2
I'm not sure Edwards "walked". He was probably "pushed".
Clark Kent™
As far as team chemistry or morale, no nothing as changed. Why would it?His snaps were down to what 13 a game before he was released? I doubt his release was that significan to the team.
DonDaLuvMaker
I believe that the most happiest person in all of this is Kroy.
falcons007
I don't know if it made any difference as he hardly played any snaps. It might be helping guys like Cliff Mathews and Travian Robertson to get some play time.

truefalcon
Detoxing can be good for you. That is well put, and I guess that was the essence of what I was trying to say. He may not have been given as many snaps/saw limited action, but having someone on the team wtih his apparent lack of focus, energy, and negative attitude can definitely affect the well-being and comfort zone of other more willing and enthusiastic players. We all know someone at work, for example, who has a negative attitude which carries over with regards to affecting the state of mind and positive energy flow of other team members. rugger8
Now I'd be interested in seeing how the OL plays if we 'rested' McClure for a couple of games....I don't think he negatively affects morale, but I don't love him in the running game. I think we could win 2 of 4 without him.
aerosmith67
Let's be perfectly clear... Edwards didn't walk he was CUT.
SavvyFalcon89
Did Edwards end up somewhere? He'll probably has a better shot being on a box of fruit of the loom than on another team right now
FalconFanForLife
Well not sure if Edwards is the reason, but the defense has been AWESOME the last 2 games. I got goose bumps in the 4th quarter of the Saints game thinking about our defense emerging as a true force in the playoff run. That would be awesome, and maybe necessary for us to have any success since the offense has really sputtered lately at time.
